Jake Long wows Suggs: The interception for a touchdown aside, Suggs said Dolphins rookie left tackle Jake Long gave him fits. Long, the No. 1 overall draft choice out of Michigan, is 6-foot-7, 310 pounds.

"Jake Long is very impressive," Suggs said. "By far one of the best tackles in the game right now.

"He did a really good job. I've never struggled against anybody like I struggled against him today. He definitely impressed us. He's going to be a nice professional in this league."

Wow, thats GREAT to hear. I gotta be honest, when we drafted him I thought it was the smart pick but I wasn't really excited about it. Seeing how he has jelled with the rest of the oline is really awesome!

NICE! It's great to see things like this being said about Long just after his sixth NFL game.

With all the things we find to complain about on this board, I am elated that nobody talks any smack about Long. This is high praise from a guy like Suggs, very high praise.

we have a excellent o-line :) and the most awesome thing is that they are young !!!

wooooooooooot:woot:

all we need is for Suggs to play opposite Joey Porter next year.

Good to hear about Jake. I think he makes the pro bowl this year. If a player like Suggs says that about him then hes clearly going to garner some votes from other players and coaches.

This is great news, considering the game was almost all bad. I haven't heard a bit of criticism about J. Long from anybody especially from the people he faces every week.

I think he will definitely have a shot at the Pro Bowl this year. More important than that though, is that we finally have a blindside anchor for the next 10 years.

OL goes unnoticed by us fans most of the time so it's good to hear Suggs thinks he'll be a good player
