Ray Farmer Conversation with Browns Website at Senior Bowl

I like the way this guy carries himself. Sounds much more professional and knowledgeable than Ireland. That being said, I have no clue if he can evaluate college talent that will develop and elevate in the NFL

I agree. I have no issue giving him the shot. Ross needs to give him the power to re-shape the organization as he sees fit.

YEP!!

i just dont see the record of talent evaluation that 2 or 3 of the other candidates have. and i REALLY hope [for his sake] the finz are not going to choose him to smooth over the racial over tones of the jonothan martin fiasco!!

it wouldnt be fair to farmer or the team.
 
please tell me he didnt have anything to do with drafting Weeden

They are not going to give an important job to someone based on race. Stop sounding like the left.

Our potential GM also would have an insight into the Browns' plans. With Lombardi as their GM, not worried about the Browns knowing the Dolphins plans.
 
Just go ahead and sign the guy. I do believe he is qualified for the position and has been trained for the position with this last year under Mike.
 
Good video. I like Farmer. To me, the most important focus should be on getting the best players, and not just trying to fill needs. Miami for too long pays lip service to getting the best players, and then 100% tries to fill needs. If you draft the best talent, the rest will take care of itself.
