Yo! I was driving home listening to some sports radio (either 660 or 740 in Orlando) and they said that Ray Lewis might end up on the trading block...

The guy said that Ray is tired of being the "face"... and that the organization is growing weary of his decrease in production over the past couple of years...

Has anyone else heard anything about this??? Could you imagine having Ray Lewis on our defense?!? And to think Channing Crowder could learn from Zach Thomas, Junior Seau, AND Ray Lewis! wow... just the thought...

nah its true, i seen the article thing about it on rotoworld

Yeah, I heard it awhile back. I highly doubt we trade for him.

No thanks, price tag would be way to big.

Yea if they increase the salary cap by 20million or so it might work. I could very well see them forcing him to redo his deal, not sure what the cap implications would be if he got traded.

He is on the wrong end of an cost benefit analysis so IMO there will be little interest unless he agrees to a contract comensurate with that of a declining veteran.

hey bro... I am just telling you all what I heard... I aint some tool that makes up crap just to mess with people...

Ray Ray has pissed off a lot of people in Baltimore with his unrealistic contract demands. He's getting old, breaking down, & no longer at the top of his position.

He's relied to much on his athletic ability and now he's getting on, he could definitely learn a thing or two from Zach about how to keep production up and increasing whilst still getting older.
No way I would take him, I'd rather get Peterson for the same price and not for any draft picks to play an OLB position than change Lewis' position, trade picks or players for him and pay more to get him.
