Anyone here think he could help out the Dolphins in a way? Even if he would sign here and never see a snap, he'd still provide solid depth to our already depleting RB core.. I would welcome him to Miami but not with open arms. What are your thoughts boys and girls?

Hmmmm......probably not.

The Fins have steered away from these types of players in the past. I don't see them going down this path.

I don't think they will. Plus he is probably not in football shape, will take a few week to get up to speed in our offense, and probably isn't worth negative press. He probably will sign with a contender anyway. Patriots maybe?

Sign him, we could use his type of skills for the run to the playoffs.....I think he would be as good as Moreno and more durable.....I think him and Miller would be a great 1-2 punch....I believe in 2nd chances this guy has served his punishment and I would welcome him as a Dolphin......would be a shrewd move by Hickey going into the last quarter of the season......

SOB, this means Peterson will probably be reinstated before we play the Vikes as well. They are a totally different team with him on the field.

Geeze. Smoke some weed and Rickey all but loses his career. But, knock your old lady out, smacking her her off a metal bar, lucky he didn't kill her and he gets reinstated within the season. I don't get it.

Wouldn't mind the extra RB with experience, i think he can still be productive,
but major PR nightmare which this team does not need after last year.

Ray Rice is not a great player anymore. I would not sign him for that reason.

Anyone suggesting they would not sign him just because he punched his girlfriend needs to stop pretending we do not already have players on our roster that have punched women.

Now if Peterson becomes a FA next season, I would be willing to sign him at the right price. I would not want to give him a huge deal given the fact that he will have missed an entire season. He also plays a position in which players get injured frequently and wear down at an earlier age. But, if Peterson would sign with us on a reasonably priced, 2 year deal, I would bring him on board. If we were to get the Peterson of a couple of seasons ago out of that deal it would be a homerun. There is just no guarantee that he could flip the switch like that after missing a full season.

I wouldn't mind it, but would never ever happen. they stay away from player with off the field issues. plus they do not want any thing to bring attention to the team after last year
