I want Brady Quinn in the draft for the Dolphins but I feel Cleveland will pick Quinn and Peterson will slide to the Dolphins. Mueller will draft another RB because he will be the best player available at the #9 spot and Randy M. will pick Peterson like he picked Deuce McCallister when the saints already had Ricky Williams. So even though I want Quinn , I feel the Fins will draft A. Peterson. I know people think Peterson will be gone before #9 but last year the Qb's slided to#10 and this year it will be RB's and CB's.:ninja:

I have no problem with drafting Adrian Peterson and trading him to move down in the draft. That's probably the smartest choice. Draft AP and dangle him in front of Buffalo. At 12 we'll still have a shot at Levi Brown, Ted Ginn, Reggie Nelson and Amobi Okoye. Not to mention a less risky spot for Greg Olsen, our weakest current void.

Adrian Peterson available at #9 is probably the only possibility we may have to trade down.

Not a realistic possibility

Actually, quite the opposite. It seems every year one of the perceived premier players drops. If Cleveland takes Quinn, AP could very well last to 9.
I differ from some on this site who think we should use him to milk more picks. I'd keep him and trade Ronnie Brown to GB or the NYG for their 1st rd pick.

Why would we trade Adrian Peterson to Buffalo? We want to keep him as far AWAY from Buffalo as possible. We don't want them to get the top back in the draft. I too want Quinn but I would take Petersen and draft a QB in round 2 if Quinn were not there. Who knows how long Ricky plays and Peterson may very well be an upgrade over Brown.

I think Minnesota may take AP.. They need a face of the franchise since the Moss, Carter C-pep years.. At least thats what Minny fans are saying on their board .

Well that's why you set a much higher price for Buffalo than other teams.. If Buffalo wants AP, THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY !! Otherwise take the next best offer.

Where do all these theories come from? AP is a player w/ a background in injuries. True, they were mainly freak accidents, but the idea that we would trade away Ronnie Brown to star an unproven Peterson is just plain ridiculous. While he would be a nice back up, there are way more important matters for us to settle than a backup RB. I'd take a young Defensive talent or playmaker on offense anyday before peterson.

Trade Ronnie Brown and get Peterson to replace him then with the extra pick go get your tackle or qb. Peterson is incredible.

Cleveland should and will take Peterson with the third pick. J Lewis is only signed for 1 year and the Browns need a running game and Defense to compete in that division. Romeo won't have a job next year if he doesn't win some games now and Quinn won't do that for him this year.

And IF (and I doubt this very much) Cleveland passes on Peterson - the Vikings won't.

Peterson and Brown would be an insane running back tandem for the Dolphins. I say keep Brown if the Fins draft Peterson and the dolphins would have a quality backfield once again. Brown, Peterson and Williams.:ninja:
