I normally do not go into the what ifs and let's go get this guy etc. But RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis is a tank, a slower version of RB M Lynch.

Add him with Knowshon Moreno and our running and RB passing game just improved in many ways. And both will have something to prove.

BJ GE only had a 3.4 YPA average as the Bengals mostly used him for short yardage runs (7 TDs) and pass blocking(this also happened in madden when I got the Bengals in one league). But our RB Danial Thomas only had a YPA of 3.7 YPA and he is not near the power runner or pass blocker that BJ GE is. Maybe the "Danial Thomas experiment" is over.

He's been done for 2 years

Funny how everyone that starts these released threads always start with "Now usually I don't start these threads but..."

But naaaaah!

Not much of an upgrade over Thomas and is a couple years older.

Jeez, just looked at our running stats from last year and it is depressing.

As a team, we ran for 4.1 YPC (and also gave up 4.1 YPC). That is not good at all but I was thinking well, it is not "really bad".

Then I see where Rayn's Tannehill's 40 carries for a 6.0 YPC average made us look better then we were.

L Miller 4.0 YPC
D Thomas 3.7 YPC
Mike Gillislee 3.5 YPC
Marcus Thigpen 3.0 YPC
Charles Clay 2.1 YPC

And Mike Wallace helps with 3 carries for 33 yards, 11 YPC.

He was very good (ie past tense). I'd be more optimistic in finding a talent in an undrafted free agent than recycling the old law firm. Damien Williams ex Oklahoma Sooner looks an interesting prospect.
