Yes, I know we do not "need" him. And there is no chance we are going to draft him.

But I've love to have him. No hold outs, no drug problems, no mental problems and he is a player.

But I know we need a Linebacker over any RB so....

There are many players in this draft with "no hold outs, no drug problems, no mental problems and is a player".

We need almost every position on the team more than running back.... Not just linebacker. I don't like him more than Cook though. Not even close. If we needed a RB I'd move up and go get Fournette or Cook.

I'd put money on Kamara and Mixon being better pros too

Yea......I'm sure there are. We just need to find them.

He is a weapon with a great bloodline and upbringing.

But...There is what you want, what you need and what you can get and they are often three different things.

McCaffrey is a special talent. I like him as a huge match-up nightmare in the slot. Seems like a New England Patriot type player, but NE doesn't have a high enough draft pick.

Well, thanks for the perfect example. Cook was a very good college RB and could be a total bust in the NFL. He would not be on my board at all. After a certain age, people rarely change.

"Teams do have some off-the-field concerns with Cook, not from his character, but the people that he hangs out with. He escaped some legal issues last year, but teams say that Cook has an entourage of gang bangers and they worry Cook drinks too much. Staying out of trouble is a concern that teams have."

Yea, but you know those bastards could come up with a way......

I don't see McCaffrey as an every down back in the NFL that will carry the load for a playoff team. Like another poster said, he'd be a perfect back for a team like New England that will use him in enough ways to get the most out of him. In most other systems though, he's a great change of pace back to me. That's all. Not a big fan. I don't see the "special" tag as teams find backs like that in the mid rounds every year.

He will be over drafted.

As for Dalvin Cook.... I'm just talking about pure talent. A lot of these college kids have those types of problems. He's got the talent and skill set of an All Pro. McCaffrey does not. I'm not overdrafting a guy because of his awesome character. I'm drafting the guy who will make my team better as long as I feel like we can iron out the issues. Some teams can. Some can't. You put the top backs in this class in the right situations and I guarantee Fournette and Cook are undoubtedly the best.

I don't care about the position though because we're good there. I'm just happy to get Cook out of the ACC.

And as for Cook's "Entourage".... Hilarious stuff. No different than the type of guys Gronk hangs around. They just dress differently and they're black. I love the way the media spins a culture into "gangbangers" because of how they dress, talk, and the music they listen to. Just garbage.

I've seen those guys out and I've seen gangbangers out. Not the same at all.

McCaffrey may carve out a Reggie Bush-like career. Great skill set, but cant carry an offense by himself. The closest Bush got to carrying an offense was in Miami, but Miami had no passing game to compliment his use. Also, Polite had to come in for every short yardage situation.

He will get drafted high. I do not see him living up to being first rd pick. You can find same player in third rd or later in the draft.

I like Christian. I watched a lot of his college games and he's going to be a good pro. Yes, a lot like Reggie Bush. His stock is on the rise lately. Top 10 pick

I know Miami has a lot of needs, but if Foreman fell to pick #97 that would be very tempting to me. Power runner who could pair with Ajayi and Drake to help run out games for the Dolphins. He's a little bit under the radar to me in a running back heavy draft.

I don't see the team going that direction, unless they view Ajayi's knee as problematic moving forward.

I would like the dolphins draft offense linemen in first rd. to help boost running game. this is key to us winning w Ajayi's. then play action pass w thill17. 2nd rd go defense. We need run stopper dt and lb...

News flash: Most players do not have any of these issues. It is just the ones that do seem to get 95% of the attention.

Also, what do you mean by "no hold outs." The draft has not happened yet, so how in the world would you know if he holds out or not? lol
