Is anyone else happy that chatman wont be running for us this season, It use to anger me when he would get put in before ronnie was hurt, hes like a slow shawn alexander. im so pumped to see this new RB core we have.

First of let me state that i really dont want anything to do with ricky williams he completly let us down and i feel like bi liking him again it will be like gettting back together with my fianace who had an 16 polish orgry 2 days before our marriage. SO to ricky williams and Polish guys were not friends

Ronnie brown is a work horse and with new medical advancements and training he has the potential to come back in better shape and faster than ever before. I absolutly love wathching him play and i assume BP loves him beacuse of his great mix of speed balance and power.

jalen parmele is a great aqusition he has height which i belive has become a more important factor in tandem runningbacks being able to pick up tough yards becase he can see where the holes are over the lineman (where the weakest part of the line he can bust through is) I also belive with him and ronnie on the feild at the same time he can be a great blocker on toss/sweep plays since he will be able to get out infront so quickly

Lex is a project, personally dont think he will make the team. but definatly pulling for him. I jsut dont see where he fits in besides the pS.

I cannot wait to see what these guys are gonna do behind this vastly improved line. Jalen and ronnie combine for 2,000 yards (season prediction)

I never liked Chatman. Thank god he's gone.

Chapman played with heart. I wouldnt take him lightly because we will be facing him this year.

His spin move is sick.

Although i'm excited about our running backs, Chatman gave it his all. Aside from a few fumbles he was rather impressive behind a no-talent O line, no qb, no wr, nothing and still did pretty good out of the backfield on passes/screens and running. Dude played hurt and gave it his all thats all you can ask for--- so he's not LT, don't bash a dude they did all he could do given the situation he was thrown into.

Its like when people non-stop bash fiedler, he wasn't the reason he was the starting qb, we gave him no competition.. took us to the playoffs and won like 30+ games, played with heart and gave it his all, he just wasn't talented...

instead you guys should bash the underachievers... chambers, derrius thompson, channing chrowder, matt roth etc etc

Iam excited too brother, would like to see what this kid parmelee is all about, he sure is gettin some hype for being a 6th round draft pick.

When healthy, like the the first half of last year, there isnt another running back that i would take over ronnie brown, not even LT. I would say that ronnie, LT and Adrian Peterson are the three best running backs in the league. {even though the rest of the league isnt aware of this, at least the media isnt}.

How old is ronnie gonna be this year?, i believe 27 or 28.....dam, hes gettin up there pretty quick. he was older when he came out huh.

I also have a strong feelin that ricky williams is going to be highly motivated and very productive. iam sure he loves the young team philosophy, prolly reminds him of being in college somewhat. Can you imagine this two headed monster of THE R N R EXPRESS, I think we have the makeup of an exciting young team. cant wait to see how it all unfolds, especially at the QB position.

Ps..... Chatman was a nice player, dude played with heart and toughness, i respect him.

I'm Polish, dude why you gotta hate?

Chatman is a chump, our RB situation this year (whether or not you like Rick Williams) is going to be SICK.

No.

Why I am happy with our draft picks and our RBs, I would never badmouth a guy like Chatman. That guy busted his *** on every play. How could you not like him? He was fun to watch, he had a lot of heart and was very good for us as a backup.

.

yup... i'm almost positive he was 24 when he came out.... the thing to remember is that he didnt have nearly as many carries in college as any other highly touted RB, maybe in history.... Lots less mileage..... he's also built like a rock... i expect him to be in his prime til 32 - 33 maybe, and he'll still be a stud plodder / blocker long after that.

He is our own Marshall Faulk, Jerome Bettis crossbread.

Chatman is lucky DMAC didnt fall to the Jets or he would be looking for a new job.

Chatman played well, and played with heart when he was here. Heard nothing but good things about him.

But true to form, as most fans would do. He goes to a different team and all the sudden he stunk, you're glad he's not playing for us, and everything else.

When he plays well this year you can start a new thread stating how we made a mistake by letting him go.

I for one was diappointed he was let go and was more than capable of being a great back-up RB.

chatman played with heart and passion, he also did well for a 2nd RB ... on a sidenote, didn't he kinda seem like a pinball on the field ? i mean, as soon as he made contact he bounced from it 3-4 yards away in any direction, wether resulting in positive or negative yardage lol
