i can for surely say that im excited about the moves being made and decision making but with the positions that need to be filled, does anybody think the RB position needs to be looked at? i was cringing a bit that gordon was picked after we drafted parker. dont get me wrong, i think miller had a great season but we need a bigger RB that can take over in the 4th. whats the story with moreno and who's out there thats available.

I'd like Coleman at 47 or Langford or David Johnson if we trade down for a 3rd. I seriously doubt Coleman makes it to 47.

David Cobb or Josh Robinson would do me.

No need to overthink it with Miller and Williams in the house. We need a between the tackles guy who can catch a ball. IMO, those two are among the best in the draft, both of whom put up monster yardage and can be viable receiving outlets.

I see absolutely no need at running back... I'm not sure we're looking at the same team :ponder:

I see needs at MLB, LG, CB and FS...

It's not that RB is a huge need, but I think there are a few guys in rounds 2 or 3 here that might end up being the BPA depending on how the draft plays out and if we trade down.
I personally feel that guys like Coleman, Langford and David Johnson may end up being much better players than Lamar Miller in the next few years.

This is the trade off... Dallas Thomas, Jamar Taylor or Koa Misi starting because we take a 3rd string RB in the 2nd round? Umm... do we have our priorities correct in here?

Yes, his 3.4ypc totally proved that he could tote the rock. He's a decent pass catcher and that's about it.

This is the reality. We have nobody to hit it up the middle, bar Miller himself. He's become a decent back between the tackles but durability is an issue. A late rounder on a RB like Josh Robinson would be a big addition and help pull defenders in toward the box so we can open the intermediate passing plays.

Couldn't agree more. We're not taking an rb until sometime on Day Three, if then. We're fine getting a free agent or a cut off another team. Fix the oline and there will be holes for any good back to get through. Miller, Williams, and another body are more than good enough with our improved receiving corps. Right now our oline, dbs, and lbs are average to below as units. Those need to be shored up first.
