ima be honest guys, i dont want RW back in miami b/c it will affect RB play. Trade RW or let him be or something. just leave him as a backup i dono. just dont let them split carries. RB is finally improving his vision tremendously and showing a lot more patience in teh trenches then ever. Do you guys remember when RW came into the league he was being considered abust i think his first 3 years so they traded him away? then after miami they call him a great back and evryeoen on espn etc etc calls him special but not RB. give RB another year or 2 and he will be someone special.

I watched the highlights in miami D's page someone posted a link to and there running style is soo similiar from hitting hard, carrying 3 guys on there back for another 2-3 years but the only diff i see is that RW had taht EXTRA gear that RB doenst have. i think he hsould lose 5-10 lbs this year and still be the only bcak on our roster thats starter capable b/ ci dont wnat him to split carries.

Ronnie Brown already is special. Everyone whose watched him play a full game where he gets a solid amount of carries knows this. But Ronnies part of the TEAM. Ronnie wants one thing and one thing only, to win. Ronnie doesnt care about pro bowls, or mvp awards, he wants to win. RW does nothing but help our chances to win, so Ronnie would be very very thankful to have him.

Plus, Ronnie will still be the #1 back.

well if we get Cam Cameron...it seemed like he needed two backs and id almost rather it be Brown/Williams than Brown/Morris

Bottom line is that RW has more value here as a backup RB than
as trade bait. He's worth more than a 5th round pick to us as a backup.

You won't get more than a 6th rounder for RW. He's hardly played in last 2 years and is one test away from a year ban. Its too much risk for a team to give anything more.

i...made no reference to trading ricky...why are you quoting me?

You can do so much to drive a defense mad with both of them, why would you not want Ricky???

WHat we need is a good FB, someone that can lead block and catch coming out of the backfield. Play RW, RB as split backs!

RB is an untamed beast already, WHEN HE GETS THE BALL! We had coaches and problems with both our OL and QB play throughout the year and maybe those issues prevented us from using him to his full potential. Offensive playcalling was ineffective at best all year. Next year RB should be ready to explode and if DC is healthy he will. RW has played little professional football in these past 3 years. When he does return he will have to readjust because he didn't play NFL football this past year. He will spell RB and be a great backup at some point next year. But only a backup!

These days you need 2 RB's. Ronnie Brown hasn't showed he could play all 16 games. RW would be a good backup.

Your right Ronnie don't care about any of those things he cares about money.

Well we were 29th in the league in rushing attempts with 409. And last year with Ricky and Ronnie splitting carries, we were 17th in rushing attempts with 444.

Ronnie got 34 more carries this year, without Ricky, finishing with 241. I think Ronnie should get about 300-330 carries next year. And if Ricky comes back, I would like to see him get about 125-150 carries. At the most, that is 480 carries, which is probably unlikely. At the least, that is 425 carries, which would still probably be a bit low compared to the rest of the league.

No matter which way I can think to cut it, this offense needs to be a lot more balanced than it was this year. We ranked 4th in passing attempts and we had backups in most of the time. That is absolutely ridiculous.

We must focus on the running game more and find more balance in order for this offense to be effective. If that happens, Ronnie should get a lot of carries. And can we really find a better option to give him a breather than Ricky at probably a small price? I seriously doubt it. So I say give Ronnie the majority of a lot of carries, and let Ricky back him up and give him a rest every once in a while.

we dont need ricky anymore RB can handle the load now hes been groomed

Ronnie hasn't been healthy in both of his years over here. Now, do you want Morris as a backup or Ricky if Ronnie gets hurt?

if all he cared about was money, he would have milked his hand injury this season til the end of the year. He had no reason to come back and play against the jets or the colts. We were eliminated fromt he playoffs. He came back because he wanted to win those games. You really mean to tell me he was thinking about money?
