At the beginning of the year, I was saying that should Grimes stay healthy, he would be the steal of the offseason.

This guy is worth his weight in gold, and for the most part, has matched up well against any #1 WR we have faced, and has 4 picks this season. He is a factor in the secondary, and is a smart leader and a great veteran to have on this young team.

Before we get to the draft or to free agency, priority #1 should be to get this guy signed to a new deal.

What say you?

Sure like to, but if I'm his agent, I'm advising him to let the market drive up the price after the season.
 
I hope they are in talks now. I really hope we see him back next year.

Totally agree with you, and not to nitpick but yesterdays pick was actually his fourth of the year.
 
His success makes Patterson's injury struggles that much more frustrating. This defense is scary when Patterson and Grimes are both in.
 
Completely agree. Tell Reshad that his paycheck is going to Optimus if he doesn't start living up to it.
 
Sign him! Great offseason pick up. Definite keeper for the future.
 
Keeping the Grimes'es in SoFL is a no-brainer. It should be Ross's top priority now!!!
 
Unless you're absolutely willing to break the bank for a 30 year old CB you're not going to resign him midseason. After the season his leverage will be higher than it is now and they're obviously willing to wait. And we won't be getting a discount, imo. I don't think his wife/agent particularly likes us and it wouldn't shock me that Grimes feels similarly.
 
yeah no need to do anything with grimes right now...he will have leverage on us with the way these 2 young pups have looked and patterson unable to stay healthy but he'll also have the other side of 30 thing going against him

i think 3 years $27 mil is a good pact for the team and for grimes...and if he prices himself out of miami on the wrong side of 30 then so be it...

carroll i would bring back for sure...he'll be cheap and still young...miami has to depend on these rookies next year to contribute anyways...i want grimes back but i don't want to pay top 5 corner money to a guy at 30 plus to do it...
 
just seeing Miko happy on twitter is enough to make me offload the brinks truck his way......ok...not really, but Grimes is good if he asks for 6 or 8 M I say give it to him

What makes you think that Miko doesn't like Miami?? not being sarcastic I really want to know, I don't pay attention to her tweets till Grimes makes a big play, I otherwise ignore her banter because....she can get quite annoying
