Re- Watching That Thill Shoulder Play Tonight, I Have A New Perspective...

Originally I was mad at RT for holding the ball too long and figured he got what he deserved (well maybe not THAT bad...)

tonights replays showed good recognition by RT and escaping and he was outrunning the pursuing DE...

the PROBLEM was that James after being beaten and after holding, then PUSHES the pursuing defender- giving him a “turbo boost” and just enough momentum to reach RTs arm as defender is falling down.

What crap luck- without that shove the pass gets launched and whi knows where we’d be sitting today.
 
What I didn’t like was seeing him when he slapped amendola on the helmet after that wr pass td not even lifting his right arm.

It was all lefty.

Yep. We ain’t seeing Ryan again this season and the players know it.
 
The best thing for his career is not to throw a football again this year.
1. It gets him healthy
2. It buys him more time for another coach to think he just might not be mediocre.

Poor coaching gets coaches fired not QB play. That is why the post was stupid, IMO.

Ja'Wuan James was a turnstile in that game. Absolutely dreadful performance. If James legitimately wants top 5 RT money after this season, the team ought to just say nothing and put on the film of the Bengals game. Every time his agent opens his mouth, you just roll the next play.
 
James shouldn’t be left one on one with watt ever.

I don’t blame him for that yesterday at all. Watt is a game wrecker.

You are gonna do an awful lot of catching when you are across from that guy

I didn’t notice that. Discouraging. If he is that far away from being able to play, he needs to go on IR. I don’t see him on the team next year at this point.

Starting to see why Gase might have been so pissed at him for not saying anything.
