maybe we should change the rules, make a FG worth 7 and a TD 3

stats are for losers

Quote From Herald:

Their coach, Mike Singletary, dropped his shorts in front of the team earlier this season to display, among other things, his displeasure with one of their performances. After Sunday, he must have taken the shorts all the way off.

I thought I misread that at first.

The 49ers played very well. I for one think we were lucky to come out with a win in that game. Thank god our defense constantly stepped up when it needed to. I just kept getting that feeling that they could only allow 10 play drive after 10 play drive until San Fran finally gets it right.

What is up with our offense these last few games. How can they always drive the ball when needed and always put up early points, but disappear for long stretches at a time.

What was lucky about that game, they shut them down any time they got near the redzone. That's good football not lucky, if their WR's were dropping TDs left and right or fumbling the ball before the endzone or something like that then maybe luck was involved. We scored with our opportunities and defended the endzone, that to me is excellent football.

I think they whiners from the bay area are right. Maybe we should just play the games and whichever side gets more total fantasy points should win. That seems fair to me.

Gotta love this part

Until Sunday, as the entire NFL must know by now, the Dolphins have now gone three complete games in a row without surrendering a touchdown since 1973. And, say, wasn't that the year . . . ?

Yeah.

We must really be good then, if we were dominated and found a way to win!!!
Thats a sign of a great team!!!

we're winning ugly against some mediocre teams

you can't go from 1-15 to dominating in one year especially when the injury bug finally comes a callin'

we are 6-10 talent-wise with great leadership, a great QB and and great coaching

i kinda agree. you can't really take away the record, but it is obvious that winning close games against mediocre teams doesn't bode well for facing great teams in the playoffs.

this year to me will ultimately be memorable for being the launching pad for a great coaching career of Tony Sparano, because it's obvious he's a great coach, and i think once we get more talent on the team we'll be something to really contend with
