I don't know why everyone says that Flynn comes with Philbin. Matt Flynn will go to a team that pays him the most $$. Doesn't matter if Philbin is there to hold his hand. If we get McCoy we could still get Flynn...if we want him.
I don't see us trading up for RGIII however Ross is pretty motivated to "fill the stands" and may try to make this splash.

Good in theory, but too many ifs to be realistic IMHO. First if it is Philbin, Ireland has final say - so what if he does not think Flynn is as talented? Further, there are no guarantees that someone (the Browns) out bid the Fins, then what. And what if Flynn wants no part of the Dolphins? Too many ifs.

Ross is on his third choice now. Strike out on Harbaugh and Fisher. If the next coach is good, it's due to Ross, if he sucks, it's on Ross. He is the big guy here. He can tell JI no whenever he wants. It will rest on the owner.
