Reagan Mauia - American Samoa Role Model?

I just hope none of those kids stare at him or he might teach them a powerful lesson lol.
 
Mauia has a temper problem...fact. He was nearly invited to leave the team after one particular game. But, he demonstrated his determination and desire by taming his personal demons and losing 80 lbs to transform himself from a 380 lb DT to a running back. How many people can lose 80 lbs in 6-7 months? Very few. And learn a new position?

There were some quizzical looks when he was announced as a RB. Bu, he terrorized linebackers and DB's during his senior year. Not only by carrying the ball, but with his blocking. Everyone blitzed against Hawaii because of the passing game. But in the 3rd and 4th quarters, you'd see LB's blitz up the middle and stop when they saw Mauia stepping up to block them. Same with safeties and CB's off the edge. LOL

Point is, folks, Mauia has uncommon "want to". He knows he screwed-up and has jepordized his dream job. I would bet the house (any takers?) that he fixes the problem and improves every year. Oh, yeah...I'm not related to him LOL
 
He better show something this year, because Bill will not allow stupidity for very long.

Mauia is in deep doo doo. The guy who he punched has a lawyer, neurolgist, cat scans, the whole 9 yards. On top of that Mauia left the scene of the crime and blatantly lied to the police and denied punching the guy. I don't think that it's a coincidence that we loaded up on FB with Grigsby and Hilliard.
 
Maybe he can teach them how to run through a precut, nonfortified drywall and scream he is a juggernaught with a curse word. Pathetic.

C'mon everybody makes mistakes......who hasn't punched someone out at least one time in their life.

If you haven't I bet you wanted to.

Point is he is young, early 20's and at that age everybody did stupid stuff especially while drinking.

I'm sure some slackers out there dream of getting punched out by a pro athlete and then hiring a high priced lawyer.

I know plenty of golddigging women dream a bit different of getting "something" punched out as well.

"Cha-Ching" $ $ $

Visions of spending sprees and luxery cars, vacations ect, punch out boy probably antagonized the whole thing.

It all depends on the circumstances. People do need to start to realize that being drunk is still no excuse to attack another person. Im tired of people getting drunk and doing whatever and people making excuses for them. Myself I must admit I would love to be in that position to get slapped by Mauia although I would rather a guy that actually has some money lol. If the guy did not attack Mauia by all means sue his pants off, maybe next time he wont do that. I think it should be reasonable in life to expect not to be attacked lol.
 
Well I used to bartend for 12-years so I've seen plenty of jack-holes who needed to be slapped silly.

I don't know any of the circumstances but I'd say a professional athlete of 260 lbs with 9% body fat has the strength, size and reflexes to whoop most of the average jack-holes in a bar.

So in this case I would walk away from this one if I could avoid tangling with him.

So either Mauia was being a "Richard Noggin" bully -or- the other guy was being a jack-hole -or- the guy who got beat up was on the make and hit the jackpot.

In either scenerio it's a 1st offense for Mauia and I'm willing to give him a 2nd chance.

I mean the victim here isn't a vegatable now, he's walking around just like before, he just got smacked by a Miami Dolphin, the guy was probably saying Miami Sucks, they are 1-15 and Muaia gave him a smack for that.

Well the accounts say that the man did not approach Mauia and that Mauia seemed to have the issue. Who really knows what happened but I will say again if you are stupid enough to swing on somebody then you open yourself up to lawsuits and such. Reagan better save his hits for the football field because his days may be numbered because he simply is not that talented anyway and getting in trouble will not make him more appealing.

I do agree that people should get more than one chance but its all about facing up to mistakes and correcting them. He did not make himself look to good lying to the police afterwards either. As long as he stays out of major trouble the field will do his talking.
 
Be careful guys, I think dlockz got popped once or twice back in the day for talking too much.

Bottom line is some people talk smack, some people get smacked. It's the grand cycle of life. There's no better way to solve a problem between two grown men than to let them duke it out one-on-one w/o any weapons. Save the liberal bs.

By the way, howz your boy C Ben doin? Did he find a home yet?
