According to latest reports, Real Madrid’s new manager, Fabio Capello, has signed today Manchester United’s Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, after having secured a transfer for a fee in the region of €12-14 million. Tomorrow, Van "the man" will be presented in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium...
 
No way! Wait. Is this soccer? Oh ok, I will go back to sleeping and not caring about this dumb sport. :tongue:
 
12-14 million euros actually seems a tad low for Van Nistelrooy, but then, I suppose everyone knew Man U had to move him.

First offer was $10m and ManUtd's asking price was $15m, so this is a lot closer now. Hope he plays better for Real than he did ManUtd last year. The guy's on a horrible scoring slump.

Then again, I hope he plays like poop in Real as they continually deserve it :)

Damn Real Madrid just buys players because it is cool to buy players. They could care less if they actually are going to make a difference.
 
Van Nistelrooy is on a downward spiral, he looked like a cart horse last season, no if only we could sign a top class replacement (torres :pray: )

Someone asked Arsene Wenger if he was going to be in on Van Nistelrooy, and he basically said, "we've already got more strikers than we can possibly play!"
