Real reason for B. Marshall trade?

Ok, I've read several posts implying that Marshall was traded due to off the field issues but I wasn't buying that
because... well that's just dumb! We should have known what we were getting and I refuse to believe that Ireland didn't anticipate having some issues with Marshall!

I listened to Marshall's press conference and his reason for the trade makes more sense,
He says it was due to philosophical differences with the system and how they Planned to use WR's.

So my question is this what type of system doesn't require a #1 receiver? Does the WCO not require a #1? Rodgers has Jennings, Montana had Rice. Am I missing something?

I for one would have kept him and rolled with the consequences.. despite him having cost us a few games with end zone drops... and Moore a ticket back to the bench.

That's at least until I saw this photo today. If it can be established that it's Brandon's fist that created it, ain't no way Goodell will let him play this season considering his past history.

Doesn't the west coast OFF rely on precise route/timing run by the WR. BM was a hot dog who did his own thing. Nothing wrong with that I guess as long as you get the job done. Although I'm not sure he would have been happy playing a diminished role. The WC OFF run by the packers spreads the ball and a #1 is not as important. But even with a Alpha #1 we still sucked. IF I had to choose between a alpha #1 WR and a good QB i'll pick the QB. Problem is we shouldn't have to been put in the position to have to choose between the two.

BM has his hand in the debacle in Miami.
Here is hoping that we develop a system the can move players in and out without diturbing the whole team. The pats seem to be able to do that. Maybe philbin and sherman can do that here too.

He was a ****ing nut case when we signed him. No room for buyers remorse now! It couldn't be that, it has to be the new system and him not seeing himself fitting into it an vice\versa
 
pretty sure if my brother who weighs 165 lbs, punched that girl, (the article says something like she has model like looks... not seeing that...), her eye would be in ten times worse shape than that...

that look like something my five year old could do... pretty brutal??? I've seen **** that makes that look like a bitchslap... thats not brutal.
 
Packers never missed beat with Jennings out. The difference with the GB wco is they don't want someone crying because they are causing teams to role double coverage to alpha receiver and it's creating mismatches everywhere else so the alpha isn't getting the ball. If Jenings is the guY the focus on then they throw to the best mismatch. Some teams tried to take others away and then they would throw to Jennings. Pick your poison offense. Lots of well run complimentary routes and adjustment routes in the wco.

Wow. Bitter much? Would you rather that Marshall did more damage to a female? Cause that always makes a better man
 
I'd prefer to wait to see if when charges are filed... If i got punched in the face, I'd press charges...

theres always two sides to a story, why do these people keep dropping or not filing charges?

if your answer is money, than I don't feel sorry for these ****in idiots... they'll get punched in the ****in face, as long as they get paid...

Even if he isnt the one that struck her, this guy is consistantly present when physical altercations happen. Guilty by association. If you dont have enough sense to stay away from it, then you dont need to be here. Let somebody else deal with it.
 
No a number 1 is not essential in Philbins offense. Look for the Dolphins to draft smaller and faster WRs with solid core skills and high charecter. I won't be surprised if both Moore and Wallace are gone before Week 1
