Real reason for B. Marshall trade?

So my question is this what type of system doesn't require a #1 receiver? Does the WCO not require a #1? Rodgers has Jennings, Montana had Rice. Am I missing something?

The packers spread the ball around a lot. Kind of the way Pennington did it a few years ago. I imagine Philbin will be doing something similar. I also see Reggie Bush getting more involved in the passing game.

Hate Marshall to max but if he hit her why havent initial charges even been filed, its not he is his wife and doesnt want to see him get in trouble

No a number 1 is not essential in Philbins offense. Look for the Dolphins to draft smaller and faster WRs with solid core skills and high charecter. I won't be surprised if both Moore and Wallace are gone before Week 1

Jennings isn't small is he? And I'm pretty sure Jordy Nelson is pretty damn big for a WR why do you think they'll draft smaller receivers?

typical logic by some on this board our offense will be so much better without MArshall lol

pretty sure if my brother who weighs 165 lbs, punched that girl, (the article says something like she has model like looks... not seeing that...), her eye would be in ten times worse shape than that...

that look like something my five year old could do... pretty brutal??? I've seen **** that makes that look like a bitchslap... thats not brutal.

How it looks is not important. What is paramount is BM assaulted another person which is against the law.

Doesn't the west coast OFF rely on precise route/timing run by the WR. BM was a hot dog who did his own thing. Nothing wrong with that I guess as long as you get the job done. Although I'm not sure he would have been happy playing a diminished role. The WC OFF run by the packers spreads the ball and a #1 is not as important. But even with a Alpha #1 we still sucked. IF I had to choose between a alpha #1 WR and a good QB i'll pick the QB. Problem is we shouldn't have to been put in the position to have to choose between the two.

BM has his hand in the debacle in Miami.
Here is hoping that we develop a system the can move players in and out without diturbing the whole team. The pats seem to be able to do that. Maybe philbin and sherman can do that here too.

Correct! The west coast offense does require disciplined play. Marshall is not capable of running disciplined routes. He tends to be creative and undisciplined. It was a good move for Miami to trade him after they committed to Philbin.

I posted this a few days ago.

The trade had nothing to do with the NY fight. It was in the mix well before that. Marshall went to Philbin and was told that he was not in the plans and that there is no #1 WR.

This was right from BM mouth....

But truth of the matter is this is no longer Dolphins business.......

We will miss BM production..... Mark my words...

Brandon Marshall himself said that he does not run good routes and does not have great hands. Add that to the fact that he has been asking to pair up with Cutler again and this trade is not confusing at all.

YOu cannot have a WR in a WCO that makes routes up as he goes along and demands the ball whenever he wants it without regard to weither he is open or not.

The Packer's passing game is geared towards throwing to the open WR, not to the one with the biggest contract or the one that complains the most. Or the one that sucker punches women.
