Ok guys here it is. Im mad, im bitter and im profoundly confused. I am literally sick to my stomache of always reading about how alot of you miss Surtain and Madison so much and this and that and my response to that is..

What is it you miss about them? Failing miserably every single time they played in a game with implications? Or is it the huge amount of playoff wins they they helped us achieve? Please give me a break. Those two guys along with Brock Marion were superstars when nothing mattered. During the first 10 games of the seaon.. After that they were failures. YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT. and that is real talk from a true dolphin fan...

I want to win.....

they werent the reasons those teams failed it was the offence they were the only reason we had ten win seasons. The defnce of the late 90 and early 2000's carried us through those seasons.

Fan since age 7.. how old are you now? 9?
 
Madison and Surtain's play had nothing to do with the stagnant offense and Fiedler's game ending INT's.
 
I am 27... And yes they did fail in big games.... Very much so.. it wasnt just "EARS" and the offense..
 
sammy mad and the funky bunch were great ill admit it, but i do remember watching our entire defense fall apart in many a fourth quarter.
 
They weren't gods that's for sure, but they were pretty darn good. They made our defense a lot better because we were able to leave them both on an island and let our safeties and LBs focus on other things. I agree that they weren't the best ever, but don't try to blame the losses in the 90s on those 2. They actually came to play.

Your kidding, right? Do you realize they are (arguably) the best corner tandem to ever play?

During Surtain's prime he was a top 3 corner.

Madison's speed became an issue towards the end his tenure here but i would take him over anybody in our secondary except maybe Bell or Will Allen.

I'm not even going to bother trying to explain to a so called "fan" what Brock Marion was. If you cant recognize his play, performance, and leadership then you should probably find a hobby other than football, because after all these years its evident that you still dont understand this game.
 
wow.. where to begin...

i really hate how dolphins fans seem to live in the past. I love surtain, madison, marion and the late 90s early '00s dolphins they provided me with memories. These are now the new dolphins cheer them on. I wear my jersey all the time!!! even last year when i got laughed at. Thats how you know who the real TRUE DolFANS are. I support whether undefeated or winless... that will never change for me.. the true dolphin fans will do the same.
