I did this before the season and so far I am doing okay but we are half-way through the NFL Season and here is what I'm thinking...

Most Valuable Player

1) Drew Brees-Quarterback-New Orlean Saints: Drew has this team firing on all cylinders and is playing out of his mind. Brees has become the best passer in the game and currently the Saints haven't lost.

2) Peyton Manning-Quarterback-Indianapolis Colts: Peyton will be in the running for this award every season because he is the best player of the decade. The Colts too haven't yet to lose.

3) Brett Favre-Quarterback-Minnesota Vikings: I hate to see it but he makes the Vikings a much better team; Favre has made big-plays when he has needed and made receivers like Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian better players. Tied for the league lead with 16 touchdown tosses

Offensive MVP

1) Drew Brees-Quarterback-New Orleans Saints: See above

2) Aaron Rodgers-Quarterback-Green Bay Packers: Imagine the numbers could put up if his Offensive Line could block. Rodgers has a ton of weapons and he suses them well.

3) Chris Johnson-Running Back-Tennessee Titans: Big play ability every time he touches the ball; one of the few bright spots on this Titans team.

Defensive MVP

1) Darren Sharper-Safety-Saints: Half way through the season and the dude has 7 interceptions and 3 TD's. Wow!

2) Jared Allen-Defensive End-Minnesota Vikings: Jared Allen leads the league with 10.5 sacks and Michael Strahan shouldn't sleep too easy with Allen coming for his record. Allen defines the term "non-stop motor".

3) Asantae Samuel-Cornerback-Philadelphia Eagles: Asante got a huge contract and is living up to it with 5 interceptions thus far.

Offensive Rookie of the Year

1. Percy Harvin-Wide Receiver-Minnesota Vikings: Dangerous in two phases as the game as he made big plays as a return-man and as a receiver. He has blazing speed and is not afraid of contact either.

2. Michael Oher-Offensive Tackle-Baltimore Ravens: When Left Tackle Jared Gaither went down with an injury Michael Oher moved to the Left side and played well. If Oher eiminates the stupid penalties he could become a very good player.

3. Jeremy Maclin-Wide Receiver-Philadelphia Eagles: Starting to make plays and give Donovan McNabb another weapon

Defensive Rookie of the Year

1. Jairus Byrd-Safety-Buffalo Bills: This kid has 7 interceptions already and didn't eve start the first few games of the season.

2. Brian Cushing-Linebacker-Houston Texas: This guy has become the tackling machine and play-maker they envisioned when drafting him.

3. Vontae Davis-Cornerback-Miami Dolphins: Had a pick 6 against Buffalo and has really become a physical presence in the Miami secondary. Now that he is a starter and making a lot of big plays.

Comeback Player of the Year

1. Carson Palmer-Quarterback-Cincinnati Bengals: This guy is back playing at a high level and has his team thinking playoffs.

2. Tom Brady-Quarterback-New England Patriots: Did we think anything else was going to happen?

3. Jason Taylor-Defensive End/Outside Linebacker-Miami Dolphins: Terrible year as a Redskin but JT comes back hom and is a difference maker on a good Dolphins defense.

What you thinking///

Add C.Benson for comeback player of the year aswell.

H.Nicks is every bit the WR J.Maclin is if not more.

J.Laurinaitis is by far the best defensive rookie.

Darren Sharper-Safety-Saints: Half way through the season and the dude has 7 interceptions and 3 TD's.

Correction-Make that 7 ints with 2 TD's and one fumble for a touchback
Damn refs

I dunno about Ginn making the Pro Bowl just b/c of what he did on Sunday/ Everything else looks well thought out though, good work man

I don't know if polite makes the pro bowl, in my mind he should I just don't think people appreciate him like we do. To me he's one of if not the best blocking fullback in the league.

My defense of Ginn here is that anytime you return two kickoffs for touchdowns and are the reason your team won than you are grated consideration. It would have been Leon Washington but injury keeps him off; same thing for Owen Daniels.

Jairus Byrd is having a much better season than Laurinaitis. 7 interceptions is great for anyone let alone a rookie for half of a season

Very nice. Dumberville from the Broncos is having a great season. And interesting your predicting another Eagles loss in the NFC Championship game.

And I think the Dolphins win 10 games and make the playoffs.

Orlando Pace is not a pro bowler anymore. He has not been great for the Bears.

i kinda really want ginn to go to the pro bowl for KR hes is 2nd in the nfl average yards and with two touchdowns with less attempts than some

Whose midseason projections are these again? I always feel like there's a label missing on these posts.
