I can see two offseason scenarios that we will play out in the draft
Offseason:
Resign: Ronnie, Bess, fasano, Haynos, Polite, JT,

I think we will sign a veteran NT like Casey Hampton or Aubreyo Franklin. Terrance Cody is really the only true NT that might be productive out of this draft other than Dan Williams, but Cody's weight is a big issue.
Everyone wants Wilfork but remember last year, we all wanted Jason Brown and instead we got Jake Grove.
As for WR, WE ARE NOT GETTING BRANDON MARSHALL OR VINCENT JACKSON OR MILES AUSTIN. Trust me i want them as much as you do but this is not Madden, this is REAL life. I have seen rumors on the internet about Parcells sending Antonio Bryant texts saying "just get through this season" or "just wait til next year". Because of that i think we will bring him in.

Draft Time:
1st R: Rolando McClain ILB Alabama: Everything Parcells loves in LB's, big, mean, strong, physical, great in coverage, reads the QB well, i mean this list goes on and on with him, he is a stud.
Trade: send to the lions joey porter, 2011 3rd, 2010 4th. The lions have no pass rush at all and an experienced veteran like J peezy could help them out.
2nd R: Jerry Hughes OLB TCU: Pure pass rusher, great first step.
Trade: we trade back a few spots for a 2nd and a 3rd. thats what we did last year.
2nd R: Brandon Spikes ILB Florida: To have a great 3-4 D you need really good LB play. We have very little right now. So this only makes sense. To stud ILB and one great pass rushing OLB.
3rd R: Dennis Pitta TE BYU: A bigger and better version of Fasano. Catches everything thrown towards him
3rd R: Nate Allen S So.Florida: consisten tackler.

so heres what our team could look like in 2010
QB: Henne
RB: Brown, Ricky, Cobbs
FB: Polite
WR: Bryant, Camarillo, Dezmon Briscoe(picked up in the 4th Round)
WR: Hartline, Bess, Ginn
TE: Fasano, Haynos, Pitta
LT: Long, Gardner
LG: Smiley
C: Grove, Berger
RG: Thomas
RT: Carey, Gardner

DE: Langford, McDaniel
NT: Hampton, Solia
DE: Starks, Merling
OLB: Wake, JT
ILB: McClain, Ayodele
ILB: Spikes, Crowder
OLB: Hughes, Anderson
CB: Allen, Smith
CB: Davis, Smith
SS: Bell, Culver
FS: Wilson, Clemons, Nate Allen
K: Carpenter
P: Brandon Fields

Now man that is a young and Defense with great depth.

I like our chances in 2010.
Opinions???

trade a second for a later second and a third. HAHA dont make me laugh!

How is the UNrealistic. Whats unrealistic is half the people on here wanting to trade Ronnie Brown who is our best player for a 2nd and half our team for Brandon Marshall.

JP is going to be cut, no one will trade for him. nevermind a second. Not realistic. Hughes lasting-not realistic. McClain-not realistic.

Id take Dan Williams over Cody 7 days outta da week.

also, were not going to take two ILBs that high.Crowders decent, and will be servicable for another 2 years.

but look what we did with Vontae and Smith. We have a good corner in Will Allen and we took both of them. the reason why i think Hughes will fall is because there are teams that are leaning towards Von Miller and Witherspoon and Kindle. Sean Smith was a projected 1st rounder and he fell all the way to late 2nd. Anything can happen in the draft.

thats unrealistic 3 first round prospects to us i doubt that happen Hughes and Spikes will both be first round draft pick IMO but if that is how our offseason turns out i will be very very happy

actually Spikes is not projected as a 1st any more. He is projected as a mid-early 2nd.

ya know some of you probably don't believe this but players can drop, Sean Smith dropped out of the first, Connor Barwin who some of us wanted last year dropped out of the first, Max Unger fell, and the high and mighty Rey Malaluaga fell to an early 2nd. Yes it is possible, Hughes is not wanted by some teams.

Replace Dennis Pitta with Jimmy Graham.

I understand you are a UM fan, but Dennis Pitta will be picked ahead of Jimmy Graham, and Dennis Pitta is better than Jimmy Graham.

As a Hurricane fan, you may not want to hear that, but the fact is Pitta>Graham.
