A couple of games that we were counting on didn't go our way this week. KC came back in the second half and Cinci killed NO.. At least the Jets lost today..

We need to start rooting against all AFC competition right now, KC, NYJ & Cinci need to start losing to give us some glimmer of hope right now. Where do we stand right now if the season were to end today?

Think of it like this . . . . We have to win 6 more games . . . . one game at a time . . . if KC and Cincy and NYJ win 6 more games . . . than we gotta give it up to them. BUt we can't focus on them, we just gotta keep handling our business and the cards will fall in place.
 
dude if we get to a winning record, i'll be very proud.
 
9-7 with wins over NE and NY, prolly the best we can hope for

Yep. We just have to take care of our own business and things should work themselves out.
 
enjoy one at a time, it is a long offseason, it is nice to be proud for awhile no matter what
 
This is what I predict the final records of these teams will be:

NYJ: 9-7
CIN: 8-8
JAX: 8-8
KC: 10-6

We have to win out. If we tie with KC, we have the tie breaker. Come on Fins!!!
 
The other teams have tough schedules other than the Jets so it was a good thing that the Jets did lose and with Cincinatti's horrible defense their is no way the win more then 10 games this year.
 
I'm not going to think about any playoff chances until we get to .500. Once we get there I'll start to think about scenerios but we can't do anything like that now.
 
The Dlphins (apparantly is no "O") set a team record today for fewest yards rushing (-3) per game (previous record was 14 yards). The Dlphin offense only scored 10 points and squandered a possible 17 others. The Dlphins need to find some "O" in order to have any chance of finishing with a winning record.

I agree. Our defense can't do this every game. We can't miss FIELD GOALS either!
 
the bright side is...if we finish with a .500+ record, players will be more inclined to wanna come here...aka, lance briggs maybe??? we gotta play the Lions, Jags, Jets, Bills, Pats, Colts......i can see us beating the Lions, Jags, Jets, Bills...but the Pats and Colts are gonna be REALLY TOUGH. i see us finishing 8-8....8-8 teams have made the playoffs in the past few years...we just gotta hope other AFC teams lose. if we dont make the playoffs, id hate to get another mediocre pick.
