Coming from a Jet's fan, i see that alot of you are saying that this team is taking baby steps and getting better each game, my question is this, how long do you think that the Miami nation is going to give Saban, i mean, by the time he get's totally up to speed, the season may be over.

From dealing with what Herm did, we waited 3 or 4 years before we got it going, when do you think that the owner is going to start questioning Saban?

Give him 1 more year. By the way, congrats on the Jets start. Mangini is going to be a great head coach. Gotta give Pennington credit, he has guts.

Saban took over a team that had no offensive line...and was 4 and 12... He gets at least three more years...and plus we were not done...WE WILL BE FINE I PROMISE....

Thanks, i know Saban is a great coach, i just don't understand why you guys are playing this way, i had you picked to take the East this year.

Saban has two more years to build a team ready to challenge. Time enough to build on offensive line.

Oh....and say what u want....next week I see a three way tie for first place.

He will have around 3-4 years. If nothing happens by then... we will see...

The jets are legit....Don't kill me please!!!!!

This looks like the case (sadly). Thankfully I picked up Pennington off waivers after Culpeppers first game and I am probably playing Pennington in week 5 over Culpepper unless he can show me something a bit different.

To answer your question though, I'd say give him another year or 2.

Offensive Line

Not because the guys cant play, but because they cant play cohesively yet

We are not on the same page. Getting better from the disaster last week. things change quickly. Like what will happen to the Pats and Jets in the next few weeks. Alot of unknowns with alot of teams so far because not enough has been seen in terms of growing pains with a lot of teams.

Not to mention game planning at this time of year is different because you dont know what every team is going to be able to do.

Come week 7 I think we will be rolling up to expectations

Don't you worry yourself, Saban no where near the type of HC Herm is...In fact Mangini has more in common with Herm as a HC then Saban (Only because they both started as Rookie HCs for the Jets, not because they coach the same).

Miami will be alright, thanks for your concern.

WH put up with Wanny for five years. The team slowly slid into the dumps during his tenure. Saban should be allowed at least the same amount of time to right the ship. So far we've addressed the RB and the QB on offense. The TE/WR's appear to be solid. The OL needs some serious attention. On the defense we've got a solid line, LBs appear to be above average as a whole, but the secondary needs some work. Maybe they need time to learn the system and play cohesively, maybe we need some fresh blood, I'll withold my evaluation until the end of the season.

And Miami will still make noise, as will the Pats, Jets, and Bills. Anyone that thinks the AFC East is done, is in for a rude awakening.

miami will take the division. new york has played as well as it will. miami only gets better from here.
