Where is the reset button?
Let's face it. The guy took away the ONE single home field advantage we have, the 1 PM south florida heat. He wanted badly for a nationally televised game for whatever reason. He expected his team to perform and the score really doesn't reflect how badly the team stunk it up at times during the game. I am not talking about a bad play here and there but rather 1980's Tampa Bay Bucs type stench.
If he was any owner, he would call for the coaching staff into his office and there would be some as chewing. Simply put, the Dolphins were embarrassed and on the national stage that HE clamored for. MNF is the big boy slot and we fielded a hot mess on defense.
I am not stupid. If you are going to lose any game it might as well be the first one. Hell some good teams went down in week one but losing to an interdivisional opponent really makes a tie breaker difficult especially when you have to play them again in in the winter in their back yard. I cannot state how big this game was but most of you seasoned fans already know the significance of winning against a divisional opponent and a wounded one at that. When we play them again there is a good chance they will be a healthier team and winning in Foxboro is very difficult.
It isn't that we lost though IMO more than HOW we lost and Ross has to be embarrassed.
