That's what tonight was for alot of people who had big hopes fot this team.
1. The secondary is brutal. Goodman sucks.
2. The OL is still very much a work in progress.
3. Culpepper looked like the Culpepper of last year, not the Culpepper of the previous three.
Bash away and tell me how I'm a pessimist and how it's only 1 game. That's all fine and good but tonight was not very encouraging.
Bottom line is this team is at least 2 years away from seriously competing for anything. Too many holes to fill.

Frankly, the only thing I blame Culpepper for is the fact that he was underthrowing Chambers the entire night. Whoever the **** was playcalling needs to be fired, it's like they totally abandoned the run game when the Steelers started respecting the pass.

I thought the OL looked pretty good in the first half. Even Michaels and Madden noticed that Dante was getting a lot of time. In the second half, I think they got tired and probably demoralized.

I know a lot of Minnesota fans who are not at all surprised by how Dante played tonight. This was a very typical game in that once he made a costly mistake, he proceeded to fall apart. This was a very winnable game and Dante showed his lack of poise under pressure tonight.

Tough game to watch. I thought the Dolphins had it in the bag right before the Palamalu pick.

don't forget Pittsburgh got all the calls from the refs, i guess thats what being SB champs get you.

The Steelers got 1 call from the refs last night. And if Saban was quicker with the flag they wouldn't have got that. Dasunte Culpepper gave the Steelers the game last night, not the refs.

Your right, he should have been covering Heath Miller a lot closer. Maybe we should pull him as the safety next game. :shakeno:

oh dam please 1 game and we suck? we just played one of the best teams
and we were with them the whole game and lost, yes we have problems
corners O line, and no were not going to the S.B.
were better this year than last and were going to get better each year
its only 1 game man dont burn all your Dolphin stuff yet, Chill

You're right.... my point was more that the refs had nothing to do with Pittsburgh winning. The loss isn't all on Daunte. Lots of people had in a hand in that loss.

Quite frankly, this is the most reasonable post I've seen from Dolphin fan in a long time. Now, I'm not one to talk, the Bills will have a tough year, but there are some fans on here who's expectations are way too high for the talent on this team.
