For all of you gus haters out there, your in for a serious reality check on sunday if the guy can't go....

Sage will be a career back up at best.... his stats this year came off one lucky play, he has proven in the past that he cant even fill jay feidlers shoes... he seems like he brings good positivity towards the team but the talent isnt there.

Even against a below average cleveland defense.. i think he will make you all believe that saban's choice of letting gus play as many games as he can is the RIGHT choice.

And after the game.. please no "lets start lemon" threads.

You might be right....but at least we'll finally have the chance to see with our own eyes whether Sage is a career backup...we've known Frerotten has been a career backup for twelve years....now at least we have something to look forward to as far as seeing a fresh player on the field that doesnt look like he's been run over by grandma's puke green Datsun a hundred times...It is a more than welcomed change IMO to have something to look forward to watching than this so called "best chance to win" loser which is definitely the KING of backup quarterbacks in the NFL in his 6 NFL Team so far....it's pretty sad when reading the article in the miami herald last week when they asked Good Ol' Gus what he thought about the booing to his play on the field...his response..."I'm used to it".....I wonder why!!!

It isnt whether he comes in and lights it up or not ... people just want to see where he is at in the system. Just so we know how many QB's we need to look for in the off season.

If nothing else at least it seems Chambers can catch the ball when Sage throws it to him.

Whew now that you cleared that up, why dont you solve our CB problems. I mean we all need to hear that Reggie Howard is a career backup at best.

Dude you dont know what is going to happen Sunday, Sage might play like crap and he might play good. We havent seen enough of him to really know what kind of player he is.

Some of you guys amaze me. It's like you want to see Sage fail just so you can say "I told you so".

He's only started 1 game in his whole career, stop bashing him. You don't know how good or bad he is.

Why be negative. as it looks right now, Sage is our man for Sundays game... So I say GO Sage... if it was Gus, I'd say "GO GUS"!

let's not loose site here, we are Fin fans and want to win even if they put Joe Shmoe in there.

So you're saying that one game should define the kid for life, don't QB's usually take 2-3 games to get adjusted, seem like I've said this before somewhere.. ;)

i hate sage because he doesn't jump up and down and get other guys pumped!

/sarcasm

Personally I don't wanna see Sage fail, I didn't even wanna see Gus fail. But I honestly think that with us Sage should have had more chances if the coaches notice something about him. Sure guys come out and take over for an injured player and become supestars. This happens a LOT less often than it does. I'm not saying it's impossible, but if I had to put odds on that happening it's 1/100 regardless of what team it is.

I just want people to be real with themselves and others, keep it real. Don't say Sage is gonna light em up, he may he may not. And if he does it has to be against a better defense than the one in Cleveland because I can bet you even Gus would rip em up. I could go on forever about over-optomism...
Not tryin to be mr negativity neither, I'm jut keepin it real.

now why in the hell would we want a reality check ? dont tell me, wanny is nominated for the best coach of the year award !

look i am totaly drunk and i am having to much fun to want a reality check . If it makes you feel better i will accept a personal check for $10. million dollars .

dont forget now I already said that sage is the chosen one and i will personally guarantee the sage would if he was allowed to , take us all the way to the super bowl. yes i am insane , i am insanely mad about my dolphins . so lay of the sage he is our future.

Is he available?? I'd take him in a heartbeat!!!

We need to sign him right now!!!

He's the "answer"...did you see that game winning pass he threw in the game last week?

I'm starting the "Joe Shmoe" bandwagon right now!!!

:woot: :goof:

The only reality check we are in for is to know whether or not Sage is worth keeping. I don't know about you guy's but I want to find out this season if Sage is worth keeping for next season. I'm tired of the unkown with Sage. Let him play then we can judge. Gus is a old backup QB that we know what can do so now let's find out about Sage. If Sage sucks after a few games then we try Lemon and then cut his *** after the season. At least we will know once and for all.
