OK, we did lose to the worst team on the NFL, we couldn’t get on rhythm on offense against the worst defense on the league, and we are 0-3 on halftime adjustments, its seems like Wanny is still coaching the team, so after this game there is no doubt we are on the low 3 of the NFL, believe me, we are that bad!
That being said, we need to get something positive out of this debacle. I think this is the perfect time for Nick to stop being so stubborn and make some crucial changes, just for the fact that we can’t be worse, or for the fun of the fans.
I think this season is OVER, but I still believe we will have a very competitive team next year, I don’t know how good, but at least not the garbage team we are seeing this year.
1) Culpepper is our QB of the future, (or that’s what Saban thinks), but if Saban really wants to protect him he should bench him because under this OL, and with his repaired knee, there is a strong probability of another big injury coming soon. Now, Dolphins are paying big money to our backup QB. I don’t know if he is going to be better than Daunte, but we deserve an opportunity to see what Harrington can bring to the table this season, because it would be so stupid to let him go next season without knowing what we had with him.
2) The doubt of Ronnie being better that Ricky is over for me, you can say what you want about Ricky’s problems, but on the field he was one of the best backs on the NFL and I know that under this line we wouldn’t be much better with Ricky, but there is no doubt in my mind that Ricky made our OL look OK, while Ronnie make them look what they are… GARBAGE…
3) Our Secondary stinks big time, we have the worst secondary of the entire NFL, only Allen and Goodman (and they need help from the Safeties) are OK, but the rest of them are mediocre at best. It is so frustrating after seeing so many years of Patrick, Sam, Vincent, Terrell and Marion, to see our players get burned on plays that even the slow Schulters and Knight could stop, like the catch that A. Johnson made against Daniels and Tillman on a poor pass by Carr.
4) I know we are frustrated, and the worst is jet to happen. Just wait two more games and you will see what real anger is, but Zach Thomas is not done. The problem is that Saban thinks that he has a 6-6 MLB with top speed to penetrate the line. Zach is one of the best at what he does ….. TACKLE!! That is what a MLB is supposed to do, if you want a blitzing guy we have one on a player that we have not used …. Newman.
5) Our WR’s are not overrated; our play caller is under brained!!!! I can’t believe we are not using Randy and Chambers the way they could be used, I don’t buy that they are not good, when last year Gus&Linehan made them look like probowlers.
6) I will keep saying that all we need to draft is Defense. D is what makes you win games. Our D is not getting old… they are old right now. A young defense doesn’t collapse after halftime. We need some experienced TOP OG’s, if Saban wants to run with a human RB he needs to realize that he better spend some money when it should be spend, on the OL!
7) The f…. Jets and the Pats are going to destroy us, but I would be pleased if somehow we just make them hate the way our team plays ….. and blah blah blah (Saban knows the exact phrase)
8) The three way Division lead tie is still possible, Jerks 10-6 same as Patsies and Jills. However, we will be tied with Oakland and Tennessee, and hoping to catch the Texans.
9) Maybe the season is not OVER, but please, be patience for us the crazy stupid guys that think so. Because otherwise, the suicide rate will increase game after game.
