Really good read on Ted Ginn!

the biggest question i have about him is, do dreams of him as a great reciver or just as a kick returner?

Hes goona be a better returner than Hester and a better reciever than Santana Moss.

Neither of you have a leg to stand on right now.

Alright, I'm not sure what kind of a player he's going to be, I think he'll be a kickass role player at the very least. But I'm not making asinine statements like he'll be better than Hester as a returner and S. Moss as a wideout. I guess it's possible but at this point it's fairly ridiculous, don't you think?

Personally, I agree that it's a little far reaching. Still, fighting fire with fire is a bit much at this stage in the game.

Actually it is no different in saying JaMarcus Russell is going to be an excellent quarterback or Calvin Johnson is going to be a great receiver. If you are a fan of a team then you MUST have the expectations that your first round pick will shine. The only outlandish comments would be if you have the opposite assumptions about your first pick.

In July Miami is undefeated. In July Miami has the rookie of the year on their roster. In July Miami has both the offensive and defensive player of the year on their team. In July Miami is going all the way.

With those expectations, I am no more right or wrong than anyone else that has an opinion.

Will my hopes be dashed in December if my opinions are way off base? Absolutely not because I know in a few short months Miami will be undefeated again and ready to make a run at the Super Bowl.

Nothing against your optimism, but if Ginn is as good a receiver as Moss, he won't be returning kicks like Hester for long.

Now that is ultimate optimism. I need to add that to my list...Ginn no longer returns punts by midseason- Booker takes over.

And I would hardly call Santana elite. 6 years and broke the 1000 yard barrier twice and last years 790 yards he got wouldn't scare anyone.

If Ginn (picked at 9) managed those stats over 6 years we would call him a bust.
