Why does everyone drill Cam Cameron after he drafts Ted Ginn Jr., then they praise him a week later for making a good roster move? Either believe in the guy or not.. I mean from my standpoint just reading posts, most of the time, it gets really annoying to have a guy basically drill Cameron then another poster posts a good point and the guys praising him for basically the same move. Let the guy run the TEAM, I think thats what the problem is.. is that you guys (not everyone) are used to Miami just picking the biggest name available in Free Agency and The Draft (Daunte Culpepper, LJ Shelton, Trent Green, etc.) I mean why not just give Cleo Lemon a chance, he's improved a bunch since last season. The 1st day on the job Cameron said he was gonna build a TEAM and yet he still gets drilled for picking up controversial pieces.. wait till the pieces dont fit to drill the guy please, i know its difficult but if some would just restrain themselves it'd make this forum a little less hostile. Just my random thoughts though.

I will admit I was cussing him out after the first pick. Because we needed a Qb bad. Moreso than a ST guy. Of course I have calmed down since we did draft one in 2nd round. And have seen more info on our new QB.

But The QUinn/Beck/Ginn saga will be watched closely. And depending on how the prospective players do . Will depend on how this draft will be seen.
Personally I was not to enamored with Cam's explaination of his Ginn pick. That was a classic Wanny statement if I ever heard one. And so far i have yet to praise Cam . But I will say that I do like the fact that he is getting rid of the nonproducing players. Which to me says a lot for our new coach. Perfom your worth or you are gone.

And its all coaches that get drilled for a controversial pick. This just happened to be Cam's 1st year with the biggest pick. Can you not blame fans for getting a little ticked?

Word out of Carolina is Carr has looked really good in camps and will be pushing Delhomme for the starting job. Do we have permission to criticize the Dolphins on ignoring Carr and leaving the QB situation in a state of self-inflicted uncertainty? Yes we certainly have the right to criticize the coaching/personnel staff. When Cam gets this thing turned around, we'll bow and say: we're not worthy, we're not worthy. Until then, we can question moves accordingly. So far, how can you really complain overall with the Cam/Mueller approach? It ain't like he inherited a goldmine. They really haven't spent foolishly and turned the roster over appropriately. Even if the draft didn't address every need, they brought in a lot of undrafted players and are certainly turning over every rock. Unlike Saban, Wanny. or Jimmy, Cam seems upbeat and genuinely happy to be here. Other than not trying to sign Carr (who I guess they perceive as another Joey) or drafting Ginn @ 9 , it's hard to criticize their moves this far. There's reason for optimism.

I was happy as hell we didnt take Quinn. Of course we need a QB more than anything but taking Ginn gives us a few different offensive threats. The only thing that pissed me off was Camerons reasoning or at least what he first said. "Ive known the family for 10 years". That just makes him look like a moron and sounds like we just got Ginn cause hes friends with his dad, that was a real stupid thing to say after you just got booed for 10 mins. But overall i dont mind it at all as long as Ginns foot is a sprain and not a lisfranc like the media is tryin to say.

I for one haven't flip flopped on Ginn. I've said all along I don't drafting him 9th, and I still don't. So some of us haven't changed our mind.

Why does everyone say everyone when they know that everyone doesn't share the same views/ideas as everyone?

The same ones who drilled Cam for drafting are the same ones that are still drilling him today. Either because they think he should have drafted Quinn or should not have drafted Ginn at #9.

As far as letting Cam run the team, we can't do anything to stop him from that just as he cannot stop us from drilling him about the decisions he makes.

I have a nagging hamstring injury that won't go away....and nobody questions my decisions at work....is that the same kind of feeling:err:

The fans had 15 minutes of hope that they may get their next franchise QB. It was a sure thing, take it to the bank. They had a right to act a little surprised, taken back, shocked, infuriated -- call it what you want, they still had the right to act confused in the absence of clarity.

I'm not sure I'm exactly following you. Are you saying that fans should stay loyal... by agreeing with every move the coach and GM make? I haven't had very many complaints on their moves so far, but they're not perfect. If they make a move I like, I'll say it... and if they make a move I don't like, I'll say it. It's the reason this forum is here. It's not to say I won't be cheering for them on Sundays, but if they signed Trent Dilfer tomorrow, you can bet I'd chime in on it here, and it wouldn't be pretty. It doesn't make me any less of a fan.

I like your talk about David Carr...I think your team should have made an effort to sign him then your starting QB would be ready to step in day one unlike Beck who might not start for 2 years and with that second round pick you used on Beck you could have drafted a DB such as Chris Houston,Eric Wright,or Josh Wilson and you would have helped your CB situation much more than what did happen.

You could have also drafted Steve Smith,Sidney Rice,Dwayne Jarrett,to help your wide receivers plus Tony Ugoh was available as was Lamar Woodley.

Either way you would have drafted it would have been immediate improvement.

This is why I think Carr would have made your team so much better right now with the addition of the xtra second round draft pick.If this scenerio would have taken place I would think playoffs would have been a definate with a 10-6 or 11-5 record but sorry to say you went in another direction which may pay off in time but its time that Jason and Zach dont have much of in the future.
