Inspired by the "Out Of Town Fins Fans" thread, I want to ask: where's the furthest away from home you've been that you've met another Dolphins fan?
For me, it was Taipei, Taiwan. In November 1999, I was there with my then-fiancé (and now, regrettably, ex-wife) when we in a small printing shop looking for wedding invitations. I'm wearing my 1986-era satin Dolphins jacket and there in the store was another white guy wearing a Dolphins jersey. The Dolphins had just lost to the Cowboys 20-0 and 10,000 miles from home, we commiserated together.
Later in the week, early in the morning before we were scheduled to leave, I was flipping through the channels and lo and behold, the Dolphins-Colts game was being shown, but with Chinese commentators. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I obviously understood when they mentioned Patrick Surtain and the like. I couldn't see the end of the game, but it was just as well, as the Dolphins lost that one, too.
