Inspired by the "Out Of Town Fins Fans" thread, I want to ask: where's the furthest away from home you've been that you've met another Dolphins fan?

For me, it was Taipei, Taiwan. In November 1999, I was there with my then-fiancé (and now, regrettably, ex-wife) when we in a small printing shop looking for wedding invitations. I'm wearing my 1986-era satin Dolphins jacket and there in the store was another white guy wearing a Dolphins jersey. The Dolphins had just lost to the Cowboys 20-0 and 10,000 miles from home, we commiserated together.

Later in the week, early in the morning before we were scheduled to leave, I was flipping through the channels and lo and behold, the Dolphins-Colts game was being shown, but with Chinese commentators. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I obviously understood when they mentioned Patrick Surtain and the like. I couldn't see the end of the game, but it was just as well, as the Dolphins lost that one, too.

Being an aussie, I was in the US a few weeks ago & met another phin fan from DC. Does that count?

I'm from the Bahamas; that's just outside the US, does that count? When I was real young, I watched a Fin's game. Been a fan ever since.

When I was in Cali a few years ago, I went to a Laker game wearing a phins cap. Must have had over 20 people come up to me, or yell to me, to say they were Phans too.

i was stationed in ramstein, germany from 06-08 and my boss was a phin fan

While stationed in Neu Ulm, GE back in the early 80's, had lot of fins fans there..

Any sports bar you go to down here in Costa Rica, on football Sunday, you will find a dolfan, most likely wearing a #13......We are, by far, the majority
(Except for December 28th at a beach bar in a paradisiac place I used to work at, it was about 10 NYorkers with Jet shirts, and just me with ol #13 on my back...they were loud and obnoxious.....but quietly I ate, drank, and left the place with the biggest smile Ive ever worn on my face, other then my first score)

Live on Oahu, Hawaii.

Theres TONS. Everybody is really supportive of us now because of Bess.

There are fans every where of the best sports team ever.. dont act so shocked guys

I'm a big fan, living in Eugene Oregon. Never been to Florida. I started liking the Fins when we got Harrington, and I also pulled a really nice Ronnie rookie card so I started following him. Now I like the whole team. too bad the gear doesn't look better on me, the color scheme looks bad with my pale complexion. i know a couple other fin fans, one is from Idaho.
