Really sad and deeply disappointing (yet another blown season)

Can’t call it a blown season!
A blown season is when a team has everything to be a top contender, but somehow blows it!!
We were never that level. Like, ever!

The last several games of last season, and our record against winning teams in the NFL in the last two years clearly show that we were never ever near a contender!!

Most of the yardage that our offense has generated under MD has been as a result of our little QB throwing the ball up-for-grabs, within 3 seconds after the snap, to fastest group of receivers the NFL has ever seen!!
And this is where we are!!

Stop blaming the GM, coaches, OL etc. it’s all about Quarterbacking. This is the NFL, the league of Quarterbacks! Everyone else is just a helper!!!

Where would Belichick be without Brady?
Or Andy reed without Mahomes! Baltimore has everything to win a Super Bowl almost every year, except the QB.

Jordan Love is the next superstar of the NFL. And in a few years his head coach is going to become one of the great ones!!!

Someone is doubling down on being wrong and trying to use a word they clearly don't understand to try and hide from discovery.

Gotcha! - LOL
Nope. I'm quoting you talking about my post having no value. Coming from the man who routinely posts comments utterly devoid of all value like "Lemming alert"... Therein lies the irony.

I'm certainly no Tua fan but I think the kid is good enough to win games -- but ONLY when everything around him is operating at a high performance clip. Bottom line there are just a few QBs that are serious difference makers on their own -- and they still need a complimentary cast. That said, having an effective, consistent ground game and a tuff D are good for ANY QB. The problem with this team is basic architecture and resource allocation. That starts with the GM and also involves the HC. And sadly, McD seems rather spaced-out this year -- much worse IMO than last season. I think there's "something" fundamentally wrong there...

I agree with pretty much everything you said but the problem is that being good enough to win games may get you a job in the NFL, but to win a Super Bowl, you need to win big/tough games. Tua is not that QB! At least so far he has shown that he is not that QB.

He needs everyone else on his team to be really superior to the opponent for him to win (Alabama). That’s never gonna happen with the level of parity in the NFL.

And all that aside, He is too fragile for the viciousness of the NFL defenses. This is Just my opinion as a fan of the game!! He is taking a huge risk playing this game!! I wish him nothing but the best and I hope he proves me wrong someday.

"None are so blind as those who will not see". - LOL
"Lemmings" won't understand this, but other posters will. - LOL

I gave you more credit than that.
A mistake I won't repeat.
Identifying potential candidates for General Manager (GM) positions within NFL teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions involves examining current executives who have demonstrated the skills and experience necessary for such roles. Here are some individuals associated with these teams who might be considered for GM positions in the future:

Pittsburgh Steelers:

• Brandon Hunt: Formerly the Steelers’ Pro Scouting Coordinator, Hunt has been recognized for his scouting acumen and was considered for GM roles elsewhere before joining the Philadelphia Eagles as Director of Scouting in 2022.

Baltimore Ravens:

• Joe Hortiz: Serving as the Ravens’ Director of Player Personnel, Hortiz has been instrumental in the team’s drafting success and has been considered for GM positions in the past.

Buffalo Bills:

• Brian Gaine: As the Bills’ Assistant General Manager, Gaine has previous GM experience with the Houston Texans and has been mentioned as a candidate for GM roles, including the New York Jets.

• Terrance Gray: The Bills’ Vice President of Player Personnel, Gray has been with the organization since 2017 and has been interviewed for GM positions, such as with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kansas City Chiefs:

• Mike Borgonzi: Currently the Chiefs’ Assistant General Manager, Borgonzi has been with the organization since 2009 and has been identified as a strong GM candidate due to his role in building the Chiefs’ successful roster.

Detroit Lions:

• Ray Agnew: Serving as the Lions’ Assistant General Manager, Agnew has been part of the team’s recent turnaround and is considered a potential GM candidate.

• John Dorsey: A Senior Personnel Executive with the Lions, Dorsey has previous GM experience with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns, bringing a wealth of experience to any potential GM consideration.

That's much better.
I like that Ray Agnew guy for some reason. - LOL

To get back on topic, I agree wholeheartedly with the op. It's entirely new setup needed. No-one should me immune, but at the very least, the GM, hc and special teams coach have to go.

And it's a roster glaringly full of needs. The turnaround can be done quicker than it feels like. Just get someone with a brain in charge.

But, but, but someone with a brain would probably disagree with you. - LOL

Reality is = winning a SB is not a viable goal for the vast majority of teams -- regardless of the supposed "parity." There are a handful of elite orgs with elite GMs, HC and QB/Roster combos that are winners. We are among the majority of teams that are not...

So for the majority of fans -- the best you can hope for is a team that plays good, competitive football and wins a few "meaningful" games. Beyond that the org handles the roster with competence so you have a "promising future" on the horizon. That helps sustain interest and legit hope / optimism. Of course, avoid the crash and burns.

But we crash and burn in a predictable cycle! Perhaps that's evidence of a faulty design?
