This dude has shown nothing but character and heart since he has been in the league. Just got to love it.

Wes is a great player, I think he will continue to do wonders for us. Talk about a guy who is all heart

So does this mean that Wes already knows he'll be resigned for next year? Isn't he a FA agent this season?

Wes is signed though 2007, if I am not mistaken

Edit: Correction. He is signed through this coming season
 
Why do we all say Wes has so much heart - because he is small? I like what he does given his physical limitations but let's face it - he is an average return guy! Sorry but that is the truth - he is too slow for KR's. He has good hands for PR's and that is his value. He is decent in the slot but is no threat to break away so at best a #4 or #5 WR. IF we had a talented deep WR group he would not be out there. He played because we really didn't have alot of good depth. Gilmore was a big disappointment IMO and Boston never made it on the field much. I believe Saban will look to upgrade at WR including trying to find a #1 WR that can take over a game consistently. Chambers is a good compliment guy but he is not someone who will scare alot of teams like a Steve Smith or Harrison. Those guys can dominate consistently. When he does Wes will not see much action at WR anymore so what will be his real value? PR and maybe KR.
