Reason for suspension?

Sorry for making yet another Rick thread, but I couldn't find this answer on here, so I just thought I'd ask. Does anybody know exactly what he was on? I mean I know he tested positive, but everybody is saying that it was not for pot.

The specifics were not made clear though rumor has it was an amphetamine comonly found in nutricinal suplements.

Simply put he took some herbs and tested positive.Doesn't matter if it was cocaine or sudaphed cough surup.NFL says keep it clean or you are gone and he didn't.I am not happy about it but he's gone now so let's move on.

Right but if that is really what it was then he must not have the evidence to prove that or else he wouldn't be suspended, I just find it hard to believe it wasn't a drug such as pot or something.

He most certainly would have been suspended. Any supplements containing amphetamines are banned by the NFL. Amphetamines are considered performance enhancers.
