Anyone else think that losing Sam Madison took anyway some of the intensity from the D. Sam was always a very vocal and energetic player, maybe this is why the defense was so relaxed so far this season

The defense isnt the problem......In Pitt they game up 17 legit points not caused by the offense and 16 in Buffalo.....thats not bad at all

Overall the Defense is not playing Bad, actually they have held the scoring down some, WE COULD OF GOT BEAT WORSE AGAINST BUFF AND PITT.

I agree we aren't playing bad D but we haven't had any big plays defensively yet. The fumble in Pitt was more of a screw up by the Steelers then a good defensive play.

The D is part of the problem and Zack thinks so too. What troubled me was that Zack said he "did not know why there was no intensity on game day". That marks him as part of the problem for me. If you can not critque your own energy level and arousal level after all these years of pro sports, That in itself is one of the problems.

I guess it is just the luck of the draw for our fish. One day maybe they will be up at the same time as a big game by chance.

We don't have explosive players on D. We have good players on defense but no one who's going to make the big hit or someone who is going to make the big int.

Wow I'm watching the replay of the eagles vs giants on NFL network

as Sam which is my favor Dolphin
Don't look as if he have a lot of energy
as Donta Stalwork catches 2 pass of about 60 yrds over
Sam

when we get daniels and big daddy back, we'l be fine. im sure saban is giving them hell this week.

Geez...

Not a chance.

IF you were to single out one player that could have affected their energy levels during a game it would be Seau. The guy was non stop aggressive every game and he lead by example NOT by a big mouth like Madison.

Having said that I don't think it's the problem with this team.

no, i think it has nothing to do with sam's departure and everything to do with playing defense for an inept offense. it get's old.

our defense is ramked 6th and our pass defense 5th...which will only improve when Big Daddy and Travis Daniels returns, and not to mention when Jason Allen understands and adjusts to the system.
