I only watched the game from about 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter to the end of the game - the meltdown. The reasons for the loss are: loss of L. Tunsil and to a lesser extent the huge penalty on T. Macdonald. Sam Young is not a starting caliber Left Tackle. Without Tunsil, the whole flow of the offense got disrupted as we tried to compensate for him with TE, etc. Ted Larson had some problems too. I can't tell but may be Cincy loaded against our left side not to mention they have some good DLine players against our backup LT, LG and C. Another reason for the loss is bad decisions once or twice by Ryan T in Quarter 4. As a veteran, he should be better in those situations but the loss of Tunsil had a lot to do even with that. I see a lot of negative posts. Either these posts are unreasonable or not everyone sees the same game the same way. We all are entitled to our opinion. Without the injuries, we win this game on the road going away, simple. If some guys - LT, Wake, Parker, Derby - come back from injuries in a week or so, I think Miami has a solid chance of 8-8 or going to the playoffs. This team even today shows promise, no question in my opinion.

I'll say it in every post. I lost my **** on the 3rd and 1 bomb in the 3rd quarter. My wife was like what's wrong they are winning? I told her they just loss the game you watch. After the game she was like are you sure you don't want to switch teams? (always busting my balls)

Nah.
We lost today because of Ross.

It’s easier for Ross to hope rather than admit that:

A) His head coach is predictable and overwhelmed
B) His QB is a great all-American good guy, without an ounce of killer instinct

To make matters worse, coach and QB are “just good enough” to ensure mediocrity and a low enough draft order that ensures we never get a chance to pick a no-brainer QB

Gase is all “f—- you” and boringly predictable

Tannehill is all “kumba ya and smiles”, with absolutely not enough stones to step on the neck of an opponent or override a crappy call from the sideline

Absolutely!

I’m pretty sure we haven’t just angered the football gods, I believe we may have pissed in their Cheerios and pooped on their front lawn .

Ross tore Kilgore’s tricep, separated Sitton’s shoulder and gave Tunsil a concussion. His fault.

Back in the realm of sensical discussion, OP you are right they overloaded the left side after Tunsil went out and just teed of the rest of the game. Playbook got exponentially smaller having to add TE help on the blindside, even moving James over. At that point its tough to mount any comeback, or even lean on the defense because the Bengal’s D was doing all the scoring. Miami’s defense/special teams played very well.

Gase is his own worst enemy. His game, situations awareness leaves a lot to be desired. You're on the road, your team is hurting, Bengals have literally no life at that point. So you have to be smart here because a mistake can turn the whole game around.

Spread them out and give it to Gore. It's more probable than not he's going to get you 1 yard and the drive continues.

Simple really! Any other play has a higher probability of not getting you that needed 1 yard.

Pretty sure ross wanted to draft 1 of the 4...

yeah bang it up the middle w Gore, the reason we have him ..once we didnt the rest of the game was predictable lolphins

gase has to go. too arrogant, not as aware as he should be

Gase with some awful play calling, Tannehill turning the ball over and terrible offensive line play once Tunsil went out.
Sam Young's awful play seemed to make everyone else 10x worse.

.

No but we signed Sitton who hasn't played a full season
since 2015. We signed Killgore who will have missed 35
games in the last 5 seasons once this year is done.

Why did we sign those two often injured Vets of late

Because we drafted 3 offensive lineman
in the past 4 years(30 draft picks) 3 offensive lineman

Asiata-Douglas-Tunsill

Ross is responsible for Tannenbaum,Grier,Gase, and all the coaches
as well as this worthless scouting department

If it were me and this crap continues I would BLOW UP
EVERYTHING and rebuild the franchise from top to bottom

I'd make a speech letting everyone know their
playing for their NFL lives...This is your audition
to the end of the season
