Everyone is still whining over Gus being the QB, and claiming there is a Wanny-Ears type relationship. But all of you who do are fools. Gus is aweful, I'll be honest... but he is the BEST we have! I think we are all aware why Lemon was brought in, and Sage is no better than Feeley was. Gus is the problem... but there is no other choice. Changing QB's is just going to show the team we have no confidence now, and that the season means nothing. Not the type of moral needed in the lockerroom. Gus will play out at least until week 13, where if we have no shot at the playoffs others may get some chances. But right now Gus offers us the best chance to win, as little as that may be,

I think eventually the players will get tired of watching throws 10 yards in the wrong direction of the receiver.

How do we know that he is the best that we have? He has not shown that his so called knowledge of the offense makes him the best that we have.

Gus is NOT our guy for the long term, but I think he is until at least week 13 or so....I doubt Sage or Lemon would be much of an improvement if we put them in, but at least Gus might be able to get us to 7 or 8 wins and maybe an outside shot at a Wild Card.....the AFC East could still go to anyone with all the injuries to the Pats, Jets and Bills...I am not ready to write this season off just so we can see Sage and Lemon getting some time at QB...we can do that at week 13 if we still suck.

I absolutely agree. I have been saying all along Gus will most likely be our starter until we are officially out of playoff contention... then that'll probably be when Sage gets his chance, I doubt Lemon will see many if any snaps this season.4evaFinz said:
