I know there is already a thread up to inform everyone about his interview but I found this video and I wanted to share it with everyone and have people give me their opinions on it.

I was impressed after watching this. He has some nice speed, great hand, quick cuts, can muscle people to get to the ball, can stretch the field and has some really good footwork.

I also remember seeing somewhere that coach Sparano said they are content with our WR corps right now.

Does anyone think he has a shot to be our #2 next year? After watching this video i'm willing to give him a shot.

Brandon's been promoting himself with videos etc., and I think this video of him from practice was made by his friends/training associates.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was pulled because the regime found out that it was out there...

London isnt very good.
I agree with you most of the time WV, but I can't agree here. At least not until you clarify why he isn't very good. I personally think London can be a decent WR in this league. I also remember reading an article about the Giant's not wanting to lose him. We shall see i guess. I'm more concerned with our ability to rush the passer than I am the talent of our WR corp though to be honest.

London is nothing special. I dont think he makes the team this year.
This guy had three catches last year and some want to act like he is some hidden weapon lol.

Exactly. I simply make the statement he isnt that good and two people ask me to specify. Wtf. The guy has 3 catches. He was buried on the depth chart on a roster that most people seem to say lacks big time receivers. I think we have 3 good receivers....period.

London is nothing more than a special teams player and a developmental project at receiver. Lets not pretend he is being counted on to blow up this season and be our big play guy. He may not even make the team.

True he was cut from a Giants roster that had good receivers, but the bottom line is he was cut. Also, lets not forget that after Burress went down in NY, they were all talking about they dont have any big time receivers. So lets not pretend he was only cut because NY was loaded with 6 all-pros at WR.

London is nothing more than a borderline guy who might hang around in the league at the bottom of teams depth charts. True he might develope into a decent player, perhaps even a starter, but he has a long way to go. Lets get real here.

Aside from all of that.....I kinda dislike him a little. Couple reasons......1) He gets too much hype on this board for the type of player he is, which I described in this post.

And most importantly.......2) He seems like one of those rah rah guys. Ya know, you see him make any kind of decent play(special teams tackle or a reception) and he gets up all jumping around and hyped up, talking smack and acting like he just made the play of the game.

Now, Im not saying I mind that, most of the time I dont, but when youre a bottom of the barrell scrub who is an avg special teams player........pipe down, would ya please? Seriously.

Settle down Brandon London. Youre not Randy Moss. If Devone Bess makes a 40 yard play and jumps up waving first down and getting all hype, fine...no problem. He's Devone Bess. When Brandon London does it and starts waving his arms in the air and talking smack its like I want to give him some pom poms and have him stand on the sideline where he belongs. The only thing worse would be if one of the water boys ran onto the field after a sack and started flexing, talking smack, and getting amped. Sit down Brandon.

I think he will be featured more this season. We didn't have him for TC last season.

You are right in your observations and the problem has been dealt with.

I don't think we will see this kind of thing from London anymore. The article was dated late December.

"Brandon London was celebrating an acrobatic catch at a recent practice.
While London thought he had caught the coach's eye, Sparano got in his face and told him to stop acting like a cheerleader."

He obviously is talented, but so are so many others. If he can leave it all out on the feild every time, then he will make a difference.

I like that the coaches are helping him get his head on straight. There just seems to be something about most WR's.

WV is right i mean people see him size and physical stature and think he is a good player or will be a good player. The guy didnt get drafted and didnt contribute as a reciever in the nfl so i dont see how you could rely on a guy like that.

If you want to keep him around to see him he could develope thats fine, but you dont not bring in some1 because of him... the coaching staff might not be going after any free agent wide recievers but the chances it has anything to do with brandon london is highly unlikely.

I'm not so sure about this. Brandon London is a good team player and did make some nice catches last year and played quite well on special teams. But to think he's a No. 1 receiver at this point is stretching it quite a bit. I hope he turns into one, but it sounds like wishful thinking at this point.

i think he stays... hes important to special teams which is a priority to this regime and he can be a more than capable 3rd/4th receiver...

hes a good guy to have around
