Guys,
Please help me out here. I don't know much about Chud, so what are some reasons exactly that some of you think he'd be a good hire.

For the record, I think Zimmer would be a great head coach and he looks like he gets the most out of his players, but he's a defensive coach, which is the opposite of what we need.

His offense in cleveland ranked 7th. Not too sure about his character though.

He has proven that he can run a productive, QB friendly offense.

In Cleveland, he had the #7 offense in the NFL with absolutely no talent to speak of (Derek Anderson! Derek freaking Anderson! A guy who went to the Pro Bowl with Chud and afterwards was so bad that he had the WORST performance ever by a starting QB in a win and then got run out of the NFL).

This year in Carolina, working with a rookie QB (albeit a damn talented one), their offense went from being worst in the NFL to 5th in scoring and 7th in yardage. Cam Newton just had the BEST season EVER for a rookie QB.

Can he be a head coach? I don't know. But this is definitely a guy to watch for.
