Reasons why Miami is 0-4 and will continue to lose

Plus, Omar Kelly praised Matt Moore...so Moore will be brutal throughout the rest of October and mid-November until Sage replaces him.

It's hard to win when you only score 17 points and your defense isn't able to really shut anyone down. We usually stay close but always seem to settle for field goals in the red zone. I really think that is the main reason we lose....we move the ball well but cannot score TD's. Then Tony Fist celebrates a field goal like we just won the Superbowl. Tony has to go.

And that's the exact reason why only Dan Carpenter is on my fantasy team.

Its just all laughable......and so very very very sad. How do you cry and laugh at the same time ?

Hey, at least Daboll has improved our offense.

17.2 – Points per game scored by the Dolphins, 29th-best in the NFL. Last year the Dolphins averaged 17.1 points, 30th-best.

As bad as defenses are playing around the league this year that's more incriminating the anything else. A lot of people here thought it was a bad hire though so I guess it's not that shocking.

Does it seem like all the beat writers in South Florida are openly petitioning the owner for wholesale changes? I mean Armando and Omar have always been tools and super critical but we have Dave Hyde, Ben Volin and others constantly putting out the failures of drafts, free agents, coaches, etc. nearly every day. It's as if they want to make sure Jeff Ireland doesn't get a free pass in all of this and he's flushed out with Sparano at years end. Anybody else get that feeling?

3 – Dolphins’ cornerbacks who have opposing QB ratings over 100: Sean Smith (opposing QBs have a rating of 134.5 when throwing at him), Nolan Carroll (132.0) and Vontae Davis (103.8).

2 – Takeaways for the Dolphins’ defense, tied with Pittsburgh for the fewest in the NFL. Overall, the Dolphins’ minus-five turnover ratio is tied for 27th.

63 – Quarterback pressures allowed, fifth-most in the NFL.

Those are some awful numbers. Our two turnovers are a deflected pass that was intercepted by Odrick against the Pats in the opener and an interception by Jimmy Wilson...when was the last time we recovered a fumble?

Miami totally blows when it comes to forcing INT's. I will never forget the dropped INT a few years back by Gerbil Wilson. It was the easiest pick ever....it was like someone soft tossed the ball right between the numbers and he looked up to run and dropped it. I also cannot remember the last time we got a fumble.

Wow, Pittsburgh? Didn't expect them to be there. What's really sad was watching the Ravens-Jets game. Ravens defense scored three times in that game. Last three Miami games, Miami's offense has scored three touchdowns. Embarrassing

What about the INT Chris Clemons had that he kicked up into the arms of Terrell Owens who walked in for a TD...that was embarressing.

2005 can't be the last time we recovered a fumble...did we not have one last year?

Vikings game. Cameron Wake sacked Favre in the end zone and he fumbled. Midi recovered for the touchdown
