Didn't want to believe we were rebuilding, I heard a guy in a chinese restaurant arguing that we weren't rebuilding with his friends. I laughed and agreed with him silently. We were both wrong.

Unfortunately this sort of thing happens when you fire your coach prematurely. We should've kept Sparano

We are rebuilding, as we should. We aren't just a few players away. We have drafted like crap for a decade and have spent way too much on non performing free agents.

Draft well, hope Ireland gets replaced after his contract expires next year and build something sustainable. Big spending in free agency won't do anything but give us more of the same. Thankfully we didn't do anything reckless like Washington did to get a qb.

Alex Smith isn't an "elite" quarterback, but at this point he is the last remaining option on the market that can still save this season from being a total wash. Though I highly doubt Miami will sign him.

I have to disagree with you on this one. Moore is on the same level as Smith anyway. I'd rather see Miami draft a QB. My ideal play would be to see Miami trade down and get Weedon.

I've always thought we were a rebuilding team from the time Sparano was fired. As much as many wanted to believe we were a QB away from contention I've always thought that to be completely untrue. Manning, or any other Qb, was not winning a Super Bowl with the team we had in place. Thats why I believe the rebuilding process is the only way we could go but the orginization could'nt come out and say this because they are in the business of selling tickets and merchandise, which would be severly hampered by that type of revelation by the FO. The fact this team is so strapped salary cap wise, with the lack of talent on this team, shows exactly where we're at as a franchise.

If they want to rebuild then why did they do what they did last offseason? They are so clueless they are doing nothing except free falling.

You've been on Sparano's jock so long his wife is going to sue you for alienation of affection.

Three straight losing seasons = don't let the door hit your *** on the way out, loser.

I mean do you give a 30 year old linebacker a HUGE long contract if you are rebuilding? no.

This. With Shermans connection, Tannehill is more likely but other than his age Weedon is the better prospect.

Why were we going after Flynn if its so bad to get an older QB? He only has 2 more starts than Weedon and Weedon is 10x the prospect Flynn was.

If you guys are wondering Nublar and I switch user names.
