Recapping our Off-season thus far.........

Every ****ing year we want to kill each other and it's only been the first day of F/A.............

What reason do you have to think this year if any different than the rest? Why have they done to earn your trust?

According to CBS Profootball talk, we were $11.8m under on March 9th, before we got the extra $1.6 from the Cowboys and Skins. That's $13.4. Assuming the Marshall figure is correct, we're just shy of $20m under.

We used some of the initial cap money to sign our own restrictive free agents, like Murtha (1.9 million) and Merling (a little over a million a year). That knocked the cap space to around 9 million. It has been estimated that 5.8 million of money used on Marshall's salary could be used (references provided on most media sites). That gives us around 15 million. Do not forget that Miami wants to sign one of the two defensive linemen Solai or Langford. Langford is looking for about 5 million a year and Solai more than that. If you don't sign Manning you still may have to use at least 5 to 8 million to sign Flynn. That does not leave a lot of available money. Winston will demand at least 5 million or more per year. We simply do not have around 20 million.
