Receivers acting as Refs

Does anyone else get sick of watching games, and seeing receivers not making a play on the ball, then automatically jumping up, and going after the refs begging for a flag and getting the pass interference call?? It drives me insane... Especially when you see a situation where as a result, the ref throws the flag... they get the call... and its really a questionable call in the end? One which had the receiver not complained, never would have been called.... It just annoys me seeing things like that happen... especially with how huge some of these calls can be yardage wise

Its really aggravating with the late flags being thrown. When theres no flag on the ground and the WR starts whining then a flag gets thrown it makes u wonder.

yeah thats exactly what im talking about... especially when the refs throw them well after the play, only because the receiver complains. if its pass interference, throw it when you see it, dont wait until the receivers complain... those late flags are the ones that really make me want to throw my remote at the tv

Chambers used to do that ALOT. I don't see it so much anymore from him.

It makes the game look bad, and I don't like it, but bottom line, if you were in their position, wouldn't you do the same thing?

It's a lessend version of soccer players in Europe who fake dive for penalties. Bottom line, they're trying to get their team some help and even though it's wrong and bad for the sport, it's the extent they are willing to go to to help their team.

Watch them bring a "NO TOLERENCE" rule just like the NBA; giving the players unsportsmanlike penalties each time they complain. :shakeno:

Thats because Joey doesnt throw to Chambers anymore, and when he does, its overthrown by 10-15 yards.

This has been going on for awhile.
The fact taht The Refs buy into this some times shows how bad officating has gotten.
