2-2 for sure, although we lost to the Turds and Jills last year.

I could see this defense shocking Brady and that New England offense in week 1 . . . they have gotten off to slow starts and played some tight games early before they start clicking . . . but I gotta see this offense in the preseason a few games before I can make an honest judgement on things.

New England, Houston, Cleveland, San Diego. Realistically, I'm thinking we'll be 2-2. HOPEFULLY we'll be 3-1. I'm very confident that the first 8 games will decide our fate. Seven of the games are against AFC opponents.

Tough call. Only game I feel confident about is Cleveland and they beat us last year in Miami. Houston owns us, we're 0-5 against them lifetime and they're going to be very good this year. New England has a huge advantage with the shortened off season because of continuity on the coaching staff and Tom Brady/Bill Belichick. San Diego is a bit of a wildcard. We normally play them very well and I don't know what their defense is going to look like without Ron Rivera...that games a toss up.

I'm going to be optimistic and say 2-2.

0-4 with Henne
2-2 with Orton
4-0 with Dan Marino (sigh)

1-3.

We're playing two of the NFL's very best QB's and another very good QB. Smart $ on the better QB - especially with the types of gulfs we're talking about. As a silver lining, we should have a significantly better D than any of those four teams.

Logic would say 2-2, but with the roster we have right now and our struggles with the Texans and playing in Clev . . . one of those two probably go wrong, 1-3. The fan in me wants to say 4-0, but realistically . . . . I don't see it. What really stinks about the schedule is starting with NE at home, then Houston and then 3 straight road games. We, unfortunately could start out 1-4 if we are not playing well.

Slaughtered opening day...
We can't beat Houston to save our lives...
We may beat Cleveland...since it isn't at home this year...
San Diego starts out slow...we better hope this is true this year...but I figure we lose it anyway

1-3

3-1 with our loss HOPEFULLY being San Diego or Texans, need to win as many division games as possible.

GO PHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANS!

I think we will be 2-2 going into the bye week. I'm not so sure we can be NE, but you never know. I think we finally get the monkey off our back and beat Houston. We should be able to beat Cleveland, and the San Diego game can go either way, but for now I'll say we lose that one.

East coast teams BLOW IT royally when they head out to the left coast for a road trip.
I HOPE that we can win against San Diego at their house. Last season the Dolphins were night and day a different team when Home or on the Road.....
So maybe we can keep that rolling into this year and keep play strong on the road... but we won't improve a bit if we can't win at home.
New year, new pieces, let's see new results.

2-2...

Wins over Houston and Cleveland, however could also easily be 1-3 if Houston plays up to their potential!

i'd say 1-3 and the seat will be quite hot under sparano from the media at the bye week...best case 2-2 but 0-4 is also very possible here...

What the heck? Is this John Clayton? Hoops did you get your account hacked by the greatest 50/50 man in sports?

If the defence playes well we will be 1-3..............:(

Some of you kill me how you just chalk up Cleveland as a gimmie win. Get real. If Im not mistaken, they beat us on our own field towards the end of last season. Henne played one of the worst 4th qtrs Ive ever seen.

Bottom line is, you really dont know how good teams are going to be until the season gets rolling. Cleveland might be better than they were last season.

As far as the Chargers go, I look for them to bounce back in a major way and make a serious push at the AFC title this year. They really need to get it going and put together a solid season for the entire year instead of playing lights out stretches where they win 8 or so games in a row. Also, remember they have Vincent Jackson back this year. That hurt them pretty bad last season.

Really we could win any of the 4 games and we could lose any of the 4. Its the NFL. You dont know how teams are going to play week to week. Opening week we could stun the Pats. Its possible. Then again they might crush us like they did last season. But, really I think we have as good a shot to win that game as any of the other 3. Their D was terrible last season and our D usually matches them well. If we get heat on Brady and we dont turn the ball over, we have a chance.

Having said all of that, I picked 1-3. 2-2 is probably most likely, but again, trying to pinpoint exactly which games we win and which we lose is just guessing.
