Record Game for faraway fan ?

Hi,

I leave in the Boston area and am a Dolphins and Red Sox fan. Been pretty difficult hearing here how the Pats are the best football team ever and Brady is the new Montana. The only thing worst than being a Dolphins and Red Sox fan in Boston is being a Dolphins and Yankees fan in Boston.
Anyway, I don't have DirectTV (trees around the house) and cannot go to a sports bar tomorrow. I've a friend of mine with DirectTV (Eagles fan) to record the game, but he laughed at me and said the game will be so awful he will not waste a cassette on it.

Is anyone recording the Broncos game or TiVo it ?
Is it possible to download it somewhere ? Or is anyone willing to mail it to Boston on CD or DVD (I'll pay cost) ?

You might want to PM CrunchTime....he records the Torrents of the game so you can watch it on your computer later on. :)
 
Yes its recorded and you can dl or it can be sent to you, you need a few more posts in order to get PM's ( Private messages) I believe???

im a phins and o's fan... and i plan on moving to NYC soon... so im pretty much doomed...
 
i'm going to be recording it and torrenting it, too. it'll probably be pretty big though (1.5gb+), so i'd go with whoever puts up the smaller ones here if you want a quicker dl
 
Thanks kastofsna120! I will be looking forward to it greatly myself. I'm a west coast fan and am royally screwed this season with the lack of nationally-televised games. Worse yet I'm in an airplane during the game today so even Sunday Ticket wouldn't help me. As far as the capture goes, I say the bigger the better. I realize some people have slower pipes but I'm tired of watching fuzzy versions of the game! I don't mind commercials either, personally. I haven't heard from the crowd that shared torrents last season, and I still don't have enough posts myself to PM ChrunchTime. So you may be my only hope this week.
