Red Flag for Brian Schottenheimer?

You know, last week I was playing the devil's advocate "realist" regarding the obstacles in between Luck and the Fins draft pick. Two of the ones I pointed out were Belicheat and then jest tanking in weeks 15&17 if they have nothing left to play for. The irony is now, that it's looking more possible that Rex tanks in Week 15 not to keep Luck away from us, but instead to get within striking distance himself. :idk:

That would be a nightmare but I don't put it past them the make a move for Luck.
 
I saw a funny post on one of the jets forums yesterday. The poster asked that if the dolphins land luck does sanchez automatically become the fourth best qb in the afc east. Another jets fan replied "why would Sanchez move up in the rankings if the dolphins got luck?"

i dont know what the hell your watching but Sanchez is not a franchise QB. He sucks. Your a homer.

No he's not, whiny fans blame the OC. This year has been about the poor play of the OL and the lack of execution of the other players. We sound as silly as phin fans blaming henning for their O the last few years.
 
Schotty looks worse than he is because Jets fans think Sanchez is better than he is. I agree there a lot of problems with that offense... the offensive line bas been subpar, offseason downgrades at WR. But that doesn't mean Sanchez isn't one of those problems. If Romo doesn't completely give the game away the Jets are 1-4, and that's what they've looked like so far.

the thing is its not just the fans, they said on the radio today several players went to Rex with complaints about Shottenheimer.

Also...

Burress sucks, i wonder if he dropped the soap in jail as much as he drops the ball in games.

Your O-line is pretty bad. Its definately better with Mangold in there tho. Ducasse is a joke. My buddy (whos a jet fan) hates Ducasse with a passion. He went on a huge rant after the Ravens game about how much he sucks and how much he hates him.

Sanchez is mediocre at best. He makes some really good throws at times (like the td pass to holmes yesterday) but hes erratic and inconsistent. His best quality is his ability to sell play action. Thats the one thing that he does well consistently.

You guys got alot of problems on that team, more than the team and fans would like to admit. How about your putrid run defense. You let up 134.8 yards per game.

And yesterday the pats d allows 433 pass yards per game and roughly 100 rushing and you guys could only muster up about 250 yards of total offense on the worst defense in the league.
 
The way I see it is this. Schottenheimer sucks. Henning sucks. Sanchez sucks. Henne sucks. Getting a new OC obviously can improve your offense, but very little if you have a Henne/Sanchez caliber QB. They're too much of a liability, no matter who the OC is.
 
Perfectly said. I posted the same thing on facebook to my jets fan nephew. Let's hope Sanchez retires a jet.
