Many of you that are used to going to games probally will not think of any of this but, since i'm a first timer these are my thoughts of my first fins game.
After playing madden, watching message board a, and tv games I realized that these players were real people. They have feelings, emotions, and not just mere robots. It is much different yelling on a message board or at a tv saying a guy sucks than looking at his face. The humanity for athletes really came out after being maybe 8 rows from the Dolphin bench. Got to take a picture with jujuan james mom. she had her number 70 jersey on and i told my fiancee she must be a family member cause nobody wears a lineman's jersey. So I asked her was she from the charlotte area and what was she doing here at a dolphin game. she said here to see my son jujuan. Of course I played it off like it was a surprise. The speed of the game was so much faster than I thought. No way cann refs make consistent accurate calls without replay. I also noticed how most players have no interaction with each other despite being within 30 yds of each other. Su looks very intimitading. When I seen my first dolphin player wich was number 28 I almost wanted to cry and when the team ran out on the field next to my daughter and grandson being born it was the happiest day of my life. you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Offensive line has got problems which is no suprise to anyone. Would love to see the team go deep in a preseason game, no reason to be conservative. Williamss looks like he could be more effective than Miller. Matt Moore as well as most of the second and 3rd string were awful. Matt Hazel looks like a player but way to deep at WR. So nice being with my Dolphin people almost felt like family. Got to go to Miami is my next trip for a home game.

I live in nj, been to 2 games in miami. Just wait till you make a trip there. You will feel like the happiest person to be around so many fans and the stadium.

I'm 42 yrs old, have been a Dolphin fan my entire life, and I've never been to a Dolphins game. One day.

I try and specifically buy lineman jerseys, but they are hard to come by. I had my Jake Long, I wanted an Incognito, and I am still looking for a stitched Pouncey. You gotta give the guys up front some love too.

Glad you enjoyed your game!

I would totally buy a James or Pouncey jersey though! I have a punter jersey  its different and I like it

Is that by choice, financial or location? That's pretty unfortunate . . . I do love staying at home and being in Finheaven chat, but the gameday feel at the stadium can never be matched . . . . even when you are on the road. Dolfans travel and are some of the nicest fan base out there . . . it will feel like home when tailgating and they'll make enough of a presence inside to have a good time.

My first Miami Home game was last year playing the Pats. It was electric. I was in heaven. Drinking beer out of cans with the Dolphins logo. Yelling and Rooting. I was in front of the M 10 rows up when McCain blocked the punt. It was epic. I will have season tickets someday.

Also in NJ and have been to numerous Dolphins vs. Jets games at the Meadowlands which always sucked because of always being the outsider having to deal with scumbag Jets fans on their home turf. I can't wait to be able to go to a game with the "home" fans in Miami.

Going this year to the Fins/Eagles game at the Linc.....but this is just as bad as dealing with the Jets fans if not worse.

Made a trip from AZ to Miami last year (we lost to the Ravens), and it was an overwhelming feeling to be surrounded by people who share the same passion you do. Definitely going back when the stadium renovations are 100% complete.
