Reflection on 5 preseason games

I know some people weren't happy that we were playing an extra preseason game. Relevant points were raised in regards to injuries, however I'm happy we did end up with five games. We've played four and only now have the hazier problems we've been faced with (O. line, QB) have begun to settle into a more visible picture.

How do you guys feel? I really feel this game against Atlanta is going to show us a lot and will end up answering some questions we don't quite yet have the answers to.
 
Are the starters even going to be playing much on Thurs?
 
I think it's gonna help us this year with all the changes.

Saban has also done a great job in limiting injuries so far this preseason. This is as good injury-wise that we've come out of preseason in long time.
 
I'd love to see AJ start as he's only done so with the starting team once this offseason. 1 quarter AJ, 2 Gus, 3 and 4 Sage
 
This will probably be the least entertaining game of them all. In the last preseason game, it isnt unusual for the starters to only play ONE series.

It will be the bottom dwelling players, who are on the brink of getting cut- last chance to earn a roster spot.

Ronnie and the starting OL probably will play at least a quarter if not more to get them gelling more.

If that's so, then Ricky William may also be getting that much as well, seeing as we are experimenting with a RW/RB backfield.
 
But it could be really exciting too... Guys trying to make the team... We could see a lot of hitting and hard plays out there...

And I'm curious about the reports of AJ and Gus both taking first team snaps. How do you split that time?
