Reflections after a good night's sleep

Remind me again how is Henne to blame for Carpenter missing easy field goals, running backs fumbling, getting hit releasing his pass under 3 seconds, and receivers dropping his passes?

You can hem and haw about how he just doesn't make "game sealing type drive"s. I remember he looked awesome against the Jets in MNF, nobody complaining there. But even though his teammates let him down, he's to blame, right? He's the QB...

Yet I find hilarious that you clamor for Fiedler or Pennington. When they played everyone clamored for a stronger-armed QB, one that could "make all the throws". Now that we have such a guy the thing is he doesn't have "it".

Unbelievable people equate Henne with an 0-16 season, it's all or nothing with you people. Just remember, be careful what you want. People clamored for Orton, Cassel, Culpepper... grass is always greener...
He did look great against the Jets but that was more then a year ago.

There are numerous problems on this team and you are correct in saying Henne is not the only one. But he is one of them and he plays the most important position on the field and if you want long term success, you need an elite or near elite QB not a back up passing as a starter.

I've given Henne credit for the Jets game, and I'll even give him credit for the other good career game he played against NE in 2009. But that's two whole games in the span of around 30, and two that happened a whole TWO SEASONS AGO. Why is it that AJ Feeley wasn't made starter for life after the 2003 Patriots game, or Sage after the 2005 Bills game, or Brian Griese after the 2003 Chargers game? Because it takes more than one or two good moments as QB to be a starter this league, as good QB's have one the majority of weeks.

We shouldn't even be allowed to reference Chad Henne's second career start anymore, as he's had a ton since then to prove he can lead a team to victory, and has instead lead last season's second worst offense in the league, and this year's sixth worst offense in the league.

if i was miami carpenter would be getting some competition right about now...he's way too comfortable
