Names of players aside, what position do you think most needs filled going into this season.

whether it be through the draft, Free Agency or in house promotion, what position?

we have several needs, some more pressing than others.

My personal opinion would be offensive line, particularly LT.

I have heard rumors that maybe alabi is slated to start there. I have heard rumors that we draft levi brown. I just want a solid guy holding the most important offensive line position down.

Let me know your opinions.
No names, so there should be no bashing for liking a certain player.
I am just curious what the majority of us think is the most glaring need as of right now.

Personally I think this is a great opportunity to get a Qb if there ever was a time to get one. Plus Our Qb situation isn't all that pretty at the moment. There are so many Question marks. That it would be just plain silly not to get one in the draft. Granted the offensive line always could be better. But that is a position we could address in latter rounds of draft.

I don't know about others on board . But I do not feel all that comfortable with Culpepper. At least not without knowing we have something to build on for the future of the position.

unfortunately in a VERY bad year to take or find a legit LT thats the spot since D-mac went walken to KC.

Alabi or Brown isnt even close to D-mac.

davenport iowa ehhh!!!

I'm a hawk myself, hopefully your not a cyclone bro!!!

I agree with your qb comment, I just have this feeling cpep is good. Any time I read about cam talking about pep, it seems to be positive. He's always in the weight room rehabbing, and I just think if cam felt it was alost cause, we would have cut ties with him by now.
The cap hit, certainly has to be significant though, and I can't see anyone trading with us so I think we have him at least this year. If he stinks up the joint, it's over with. I'm definately not in the trade up for quinn community I can tell you that.

We will have to wait and see.

This was a hard one because we can use a player at all those positions, but i think we need a CB.

Nope been a Hawkeye fan as long as I have been a Dolphin fan. And after watching Culpepper last year I have alot of doubts. His play last year was not all that spectacular. He held ball way too long for a guy thats been in league as long as he has been. Plus he looked like he stared down too many receivers in the games I watched.

Now whether this season that changes only time will tell. But right now I am not a believer in him just yet.

Even though we need a good L-tackle very urgently, and if Daunte is able to come back, we have a starter for a few years, the position for me is QB.

As i have said again and again on this issue, put in a better player at any position on the offense, and the only one that hurt us enough to miss the playoffs last year, was QB.

We need to get a young QB to groom, no more older beaten up QB that might not last even half a season.

Definately a left tackle. The Oline has been in need of help for a while. We've cleaned house this offseason, might as well resolve the Oline so it can stay around with Ronnie for years to come.

I have to go with OT.

You can bring in a potentially great QB but if he has no OL, he'll end up being like David Carr in Houston. Getting smacked in the face on almost every passing play.

left guard... at left tackle i have hope and faith in hudson houck that alabi is ready to step in and play...
