what type of outrageous threads can we expect on Monday? I'm as die hard as they come and I expect the phins to win but I've been around here long enough to know that when we win, we're going to get threads that are so outrageously homerish and if we lose, we'll get outrageously depressing threads. Here is my submission:


"Kiwaukee Thomas and Eddie Jackson have made our secondary as good as last year's!"
 
"ronnie brown is a bust"
or "gus frerotte is a pro bowler"
 
you know what? i'd rather the fans be passionate and critical then indifferent and complacent..... even if its negative.

well this is going to be my 1st season since i joined around draft time but from looking at what some of these clowns :goof: posted during the pre-season it`ll be a good laugh on monday maybe there will be a donnie jones bandwagon??
but i cant wait til sunday i got tickets for the club level im so excited

You're right there. I would consider myself a very passionate and at times a critical dolfan. On the other hand, I do try to keep a level head and not be irrational.

true.... .but i don't confuse critical with irrantional.

I am one of the most critical fans of the fins... often i get labeled a "traitor" or "not a real fan" or what have you... hey, i'm just a realist. But at gametime, i root for the phins just like the rest of you.

Dolfan - the worst threads are around drafttime.... all the damn bandwagons. they drive me nuts. you'll have some really off-the-wall suggestions too.

RAS - my personal favorite thread of all time: the "Move Zach Thomas to SS" threads... those were the best!

I believe that one was started soon after we signed Saban. At that time, they had all kinds of players playing different positions.
 
I'll try to predict some of the threads...
We win: Gus Frerotte is the second coming of Christ, Ronnie Brown will win offensive rookie of the year, David Boston is as good as ever, Lance Schulters will lead the league in INT's.
We lose: Start Sage, we're doomed until Ricky comes back, cut Vernon Carey, Zach is washed up, Jason Taylor just can't play the 3-4, and Nick Saban hates south Florida.

Lose: "Fire Nick Saban", "Sage should be the starter"

I'm not joking at all. From my knowledge of this board, these are the most likely 'overreaction threads' to pop up.

I really like the "are we this year's SD Chargers?". That one is sure to come out especially if we open some holes on the OL.
